The Duluth, Ga., native is a former five-star recruit out of Peachtree Ridge High School who has played behind some NFL pros in his time in Athens.
In 2022, Beal will be joined on the other side of the defense by Nolan Smith, who also elected to return to Athens. The pair helps solidify a defense that will be losing multiple starters to this year’s NFL draft.
