The Oklahoma City Thunder have added Robert Baker to the team’s Summer League team, according to Hoops Rumors. Baker spent last season with the G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. In college, Baker spent four seasons playing at Harvard from 2017 to 2020.
The Thunder will play in two Summer Leagues this summer — the traditional one in Las Vegas and a bonus one in Utah that consists of just four teams.
Baker is probably just a Summer League and training camp body. It’s hard to see him have a chance to make the Thunder roster. The best-case scenario for Baker is to impress the team enough to get signed onto the G League’s Oklahoma City Blue.
