Panthers WR Robby Anderson gains perspective from coronavirus situation

On Twitter, wide receiver Robby Anderson said he prays and hopes this situation is resolved soon.

Life is a lot different right now than it was only a few weeks ago. That’s true for NFL players as well as most of the country, which is now the epicenter of the coronavirus.

We saw a sign of the times yesterday when Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater did a virtual press conference session with the media via Zoom. Bridgewater says he’s passing the time by training on the stairs and getting to know his new teammates by playing with them in Madden.

Another recent free agent pickup is also feeling how much things have changed. On Twitter, wide receiver Robby Anderson said he prays and hopes this situation is resolved soon and it makes us appreciate the things we take for granted, himself included.

Well said.

Another way to pass the time? Social media surveys. A few days ago, Stefon Diggs (now with the Bills) asked people for their top five wide receivers of all time. Anderson replied with Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Ochocinco, Steve Smith and Antonio Brown.

Good list – but in our opinion Terrell Owens needs to included.

In any case, Anderson joins what now looks like one of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the NFL.
