The Tide seems to continue to roll on the diamond even prior to the start of baseball season. On Thursday evening, Wabash Valley Community College outfielder Richard Bonomolo Jr. announced that he was committed to Alabama via X; formerly known as Twitter.
Bonomolo Jr. will be a part of the Crimson Tide’s 2024 recruiting class. He still has one year of eligibility remaining at the junior college level.
During his freshman season, Bonomolo Jr. held a .449 batting average with seven home runs and 62 RBIs. It is also worth noting that Bonomolo Jr. stole 43 bases for the Warriors last season.
Bonomolo Jr. is a key addition to the class and will be a player for Alabama fans to keep an eye on during his sophomore season at the junior college level.
