A class of 2025 tight end has passed on a chance to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Reiman Zebert committed to the Stanford Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon.

Zebert is a three-star tight end for Platteview Senior High in Springfield, Nebraska. In nine games last season, he had 28 receptions for 677 yards and seven touchdowns.

The prospect is currently ranked as the No. 6 player in the state of Nebraska for the class of 2025. Stanford’s class of 2025 holds 17 commitments and is ranked as the No. 5 class in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Wisconsin locks in official visit with 2025 tight end from Nebraska

Wisconsin football scheduled an official visit with three-star class of 2025 tight end Reiman Zebert. He will be on campus the weekend of June 7 — one of the busier recruiting weekends on the calendar.

Wisconsin is among four programs that Zebert has an official visit scheduled with, joining Stanford, Duke and Nebraska.

The Springfield, Nebraska native is 247Sports’ No. 750 player in the class of 2025, No. 37 tight end and No. 4 recruit from the state of Nebraska.

Stanford, Duke, Nebraska and Wisconsin are the early favorites to land Zebert’s commitment, though the other programs on his offer sheet include Kansas State, Miami, Arkansas, Minnesota and Oklahoma State.

Wisconsin’s class of 2025 currently ranks No. 17 in the nation with nine total commitments. The class does not include any tight ends as of late, though Luke Fickell and his staff continue to work hard to re-shape the talent and depth at the position.

Nebraska looks to add to its 2025 recruiting class.

A class of 2025 prospect is planning a visit with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Reiman Zebert is a three-star tight end for Platteview Senior High in Springfield, Nebraska.

In nine games last season, Zebert had 28 receptions for 677 yards and seven touchdowns. He also holds offers from Kansas State, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The prospect’s visit will take place during spring practice on Thursday. Head coach Matt Rhule and his staff have been vocal about wanting visiting recruits to see a practice in action.

Nebraska has only three commits to the class of 2025. They are defensive lineman Tyson Terry, athlete Caden VerMaas and running back Conor Booth.

In-state tight end receives offer from Nebraska

Nebraska has extended an offer to an in-state tight end coming off a big junior season

The Nebraska Cornhuskers already have four commitments in their 2025 recruiting class and are looking to add to that group.

On Wednesday, Springfield native and Platteview standout Reiman Zebert reported an offer from the Huksers on X. The offer is the first for Zebert in his recruitment.

In nine games for Platteview this fall, Zebert recorded 28 receptions for 677 yards and seven touchdowns. He also had 11 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown as a sophomore in 2022.

Matt Rhule and the Huskers hold three commitments from in-state prospects as part of their 2025 recruiting class: Caden VerMaas, Tyson Terry, and Connor Booth. They also have a commitment from Oklahoma wideout CJ Simon.
