Is Ar’Darius Washington playing today? Update on Ravens defensive back

Ar’Darius Washington was listed as questionable for personal reasons after not traveling with the team on Saturday. Here’s the latest update on Ravens defensive back

The Ravens listed Ar’Darius Washington as questionable for Week 15 after the talented defensive back didn’t initially travel to New York with the team for personal reasons.

On Sunday morning, Washington exited the team’s bus at MetLife Stadium with Lamar Jackson and looked on track to start against the Giants.

Washington has played every defensive snap in the past three games, and his insertion into the starting lineup is a significant reason for Baltimore’s improvement in defense. In his fourth season, Washington has a career-high 49 tackles and had his first interception against the Denver Broncos.

The Ravens elevated cornerback Desmond King and linebacker William Kwenkeu. This is Kwenkeu’s second elevation. King will make his Ravens debut and could help the secondary if Washington doesn’t play.

The Giants had previously stated that Drew Lock would be their starter if healthy, but the veteran signal-caller is in a walking boot and out for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

According to several reports from Giants practice, Tommy DeVito will be back behind center this week.

In his Wednesday press conference, head coach Brian Daboll said that DeVito is set to start Sunday’s game against the Ravens.

DeVito last started in the loss to Tampa Bay, going 21-of-31 passing for 189 yards. He rushed seven times for 32 yards in that contest.
