A week after suffering a heartbreaking loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the Los Angeles Rams came out and put together a strong showing against the Washington Commanders on Sunday afternoon. They came away with a crucial 28-20 win over their NFC foes, improving their record to 7-7 and pushing them into the seventh seed in the conference.

The Commanders put up a fight in the fourth quarter by scoring the final two touchdowns of the game, but the Rams were able to ice the game with Kyren Williams running the ball in the last couple of minutes.

For the third week in a row, the Los Angeles Rams came away victorious. And for the second straight week, they won by at least 17 points after taking down the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, 36-19.

The Rams returned home and put on a show for their fans in Inglewood after beating the Arizona Cardinals on the road in Week 13, getting big plays from Puka Nacua, John Johnson, Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and even Demarcus Robinson.

At 6-6, the Rams are firmly in the mix for a playoff spot in the NFC with five games remaining. Their win over the Browns was a big statement against the league’s top-ranked defense, putting up 399 yards and 36 points on Cleveland.

The Los Angeles Rams got back to winning on Sunday when they took down the Seattle Seahawks at home, 17-16. It was their first win since Week 6, losing each of their previous three games to the Steelers, Cowboys and Packers.

Los Angeles is now 4-6 on the season and only a game and a half out of the seventh and final playoff spot in the NFC. There’s still a long way to go, but the Rams are far from out of the postseason race. Sunday’s win over the Seahawks was a big one, even if it was by the narrowest of margins.

Despite the lopsided score, it was a game that featured some great plays – including two pick-sixes, a great catch by Xavier Smith, the debut of rookie tight end Davis Allen and Stetson Bennett’s first rushing touchdown of the preseason.
