Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Los Angeles Rams (0-2) and Denver Broncos (0-2) wrap up their preseason slate on Saturday night when they square off at Empower Field at Mile High. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET (NFL Network). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Rams vs. Broncos odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Rams and Broncos each dropped their 1st 2 preseason games, and that’s with Denver playing a good portion of its starters thus far. The Rams have lost both games by a 34-17 score, so this team hasn’t exactly kept things close against the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders.

The Broncos lost 2 tight games against the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers, each by just 1 point: 18-17 against Arizona and 21-20 against San Francisco.

Rams at Broncos picks and predictions

Prediction

Broncos 17, Rams 13

Moneyline

The Rams have always had very little preseason success under Sean McVay, primarily because he doesn’t play his starters. And even though more starters have played for Los Angeles this summer than usual, the results have been the same: An 0-2 record.

Even if QB Russell Wilson and the Broncos’ other top players don’t suit up, I think this is a game they win. I just don’t like the line of -225 in a preseason game where we don’t know who will be playing. PASS.

Against the spread

The Rams haven’t kept things very close through 2 preseason games, but Denver has and now the Broncos are less likely to play their starters. That evens the playing field a bit and gives the Rams a shot to compete.

I think Los Angeles will keep this competitive throughout in what should be a low-scoring game. BET RAMS +5.5 (-110) to cover on the road.

Over/Under

The total went Over in each of the Rams’ 2 preseason games, but that was because Los Angeles’ defense was atrocious. It should improve this week against a weaker Broncos offense, which scored 17 and 20 points in the first 2 games.

Bet UNDER 36.5 (-110).

Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing the Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos preseason Week 3 matchup, with NFL odds, lines, picks, predictions and best bets.

The Los Angeles Rams (0-2) and Denver Broncos (2-0) will wrap up their preseason slate Saturday night with the third of three exhibition games for each team. Kickoff will be at 9:05 p.m. ET at Empower Field at Mile High. Below, we look at the Rams at Broncos odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Rams dropped their first two preseason games to the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders while scoring a total of 22 points. They’re one of the few teams that aren’t playing any of their starters in the preseason, which is a precaution taken by head coach Sean McVay.

The Broncos have looked extremely impressive in their two preseason games. They crushed the Minnesota Vikings 33-6 in the opener, then rolled over the Seattle Seahawks 30-3 last week. It helps that they have two starting-caliber quarterbacks playing in Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock, but the team as a whole has played well.

Rams at Broncos odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Broncos 24, Rams 20

Money line

This game looks lopsided on paper, with the Broncos being -450 favorites on the money line. The Rams have a chance to pull off the upset, but they’ll be starting QB Bryce Perkins and letting him play the entire game. He may not even make the 53-man roster, either.

I would PASS on the money line for both teams and bet on the spread instead.

Against the spread

Even with Bridgewater being named the Week 1 starter, he’s going to play against the Rams Saturday night, getting the first reps under center before Lock takes over at some point. That’s two quality quarterbacks who will play for the Broncos, compared to the Rams’ third-stringer in Perkins.

However, Perkins looked more comfortable as last week’s game went on and he should carry that over to this game when he’s expected to play every snap. He’ll play well for Los Angeles and keep the Rams in this game.

Bet the RAMS +7.5 (-112) to cover.

Over/Under

The Broncos haven’t allowed a touchdown all preseason and scored 30-plus points in each game. The Rams defense has played relatively well so far despite only deploying backups and role players, but this is a new test with two solid quarterbacks on the other side.

I like the OVER 33.5 (-110) with both teams likely to find the end zone a few times.

Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos odds and lines: Teddy Bridgewater, Drew Lock with one final preseason battle

Looking at Saturday’s Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos NFL preseason odds and lines.

The Los Angeles Rams (0-2) face the Denver Broncos (2-0) in their third and final preseason game. Their game kicks off at 9:05 p.m. ET Saturday night at Empower Field at Mile High. Below, we look at the Rams at Broncos odds and lines.

The Rams have not won a preseason game yet and are dealing with injuries at running back. Already without RB Cam Akers for the season, they lost RB Raymond Calais to a foot injury that will require surgery. They lost 17-16 to the Las Vegas Raiders when, with 21 seconds left in the game, they scored a touchdown but failed to score on the two-point conversion.

The Broncos defeated the Seattle Seahawks 30-3 behind the steady play of QB Teddy Bridgewater, who appears to have taken the lead in his battle with QB Drew Lock for the starting job. Seattle did not play their starters in the game.

New to NFL betting?

The Rams, at +300 odds, have an implied 25.0% chance of winning, or 3/1 fractional odds. If Los Angeles wins outright or loses by 7 or fewer points, a Rams +7.5 (-125) ATS bet wins.

The Broncos (-400) have an implied 80.0% chance of beating the Rams, or 1/4 fractional odds. Denver must win by 8 or more points for a Broncos -7.5 (+100) ATS ticket to cash.

There would need to be at least 34 points scored Saturday for an OVER 33.5 (-110) ticket to cash, while a combined point total of 33 or fewer points is a win for the Under.
