Raiders, Chiefs final injury report: DE Maxx Crosby Doubtful with knee injury

DE Maxx Crosby Doubtful with knee injury

The worst news the Raiders could get for any game is being without Maxx Crosby. And that’s just what they could be facing in a week when they will be hosting the rival Chiefs on Sunday.

Crosby missed practice all week with a knee injury and is officially Doubtful for the game.

Should Crosby indeed miss the game, the Raiders would be without their best player and Defensive Player of the Year candidate against their toughest opponent and division rivals.

It would also be the first game Crosby has missed in his career.

Let me say that again. Crosby has never missed a game in five seasons. So, this would be the first game of his career that he missed.

Not only that, but Crosby has played 98% of the Raiders snaps this season. That’s just 13 snaps missed all season. That leads the NFL among defensive linemen. So, yeah, his absence would be a big deal.

Raiders, Dolphins final injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both Questionable

Raiders LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both Questionable vs Dolphins

Whether the Raiders will have their starting left side of the offensive line has been in question all week. Now it’s official — LT Kolton Miller and LG Dylan Parham are both Questionable for Sunday’s game in Miami.

Coming off the injury report entirely was Amik Robertson who suffered a concussion in last week’s game against the Jets.

The Dolphins will be without WR Chase Claypool, and offensive linemen Rob Hunt and Rob Jones.

Raiders, Dolphins Thursday injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LB Dylan Parham return to practice

Raiders LT Kolton Miller, LB Dylan Parham both returned to practice Thursday

Just yesterday the Raiders were missing their starting left side of the offensive line. Today it looks like there’s hope both could play Sunday in Miami.

Left tackle Kolton Miller (shoulder) and left guard Dylan Parham (calf) took the practice field today. Also returning to practice were cornerback Amik Robertson (concussion) and linebacker Curtis Bolton (illness).

In other words, they got everybody back.

Miller missed last week with his shoulder injury. His return would be the most significant. Robertson’s return is probably the most surprising considering he was knocked completely unconscious Sunday night against the Jets. Miller, Parham and Robertson were all still limited in Thursday’s practice.

For the Dolphins, several players missed practice for the second straight day including WR Chase Claypool, OL Rob Hunt, and OL Rob Jones.

Raiders, Dolphins Wednesday injury report: LT Kolton Miller, LG Dylan Parham both miss practice

Wednesday the Raiders and Dolphins began preparing for their matchup in Miami on Sunday. The Raiders did so without the left side of their offensive line.

Left tackle Kolton Miller was still missing with a shoulder injury. He was joined by left guard Dylan Parham who is nursing a calf injury.

Also missing was cornerback Amik Robertson who suffered a concussion in Sunday night’s game against the Jets.

The Raiders did get fullback Jakob Johnson back from his concussion, so he figures to be ready to go this week.

The Dolphins were missing six players. We will see how many of them are still not practicing on Thursday to know who just a little banged up and who is actually in danger of missing the game Sunday.

Raiders vs Jets final injury report: LT Kolton Miller Doubtful, CB Marcus Peters Questionable

Raiders vs Jets final injury report: LT Kolton Miller Doubtful, CB Marcus Peters Questionable

It looks like the Raiders will be without their starting left tackle Sunday when the Jets come to town. After missing the entire week of practices with a shoulder injury, Kolton Miller has been officially listed as Doubtful for the game.

The Raiders have a couple options to replace Miller at left tackle. They could move right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor over there which would mean Thayer Munford would start at right tackle. Or they could leave Eluemunor at right tackle and start Justin Herron at left tackle.

“Part of our process here the last couple of days is just ‘next man up’ mentality,” said interim head coach Antonio Pierce. “So, if it isn’t Kolton Miller, it’ll be the next gentleman up. Obviously, everybody’s been practicing the right way, so if that comes to fruition and we have to move on from Kolton to somebody else, we’re not going to blink, and they’re not going to blink. And we expect him to do the exact same job Kolton Miller does. And when Kolton Miller goes in here, and he’s in there, he’s going be Kolton Miller. So, we’re fine. No panic. Nobody’s over here worried about what’s going to happen with Kolton if he’s in or not.”

Technically speaking, the ‘next man up’ would be Justin Herron as he is listed as the backup left tackle on the team’s website.

Other Raiders whose status is uncertain include CB Marcus Peters and FB Jakob Johnson. Both are Questionable for the game.

The Jets will be without a couple tackles as well with Billy Turner and Duane Brown both officially OUT.

Raiders, Jets Thursday injury report: LB Divine Deablo returns, LT Kolton Miller missing again

LB Divine Deablo returns, LT Kolton Miller missing again

Thursday brought good news and bad news for the Raiders. Good news was the return of linebacker Divine Deablo, who has missed the past couple games with an ankle injury. Bad news — and potentially very bad news — was left tackle Kolton Miller missed a second straight practice with a shoulder injury.

Also missing today for Raiders was Jakob Johnson who has not practiced since suffering a concussion in Detroit two weeks ago.

CB Marcus Peters returned to practice after missing Wednesday’s practice. He was limited along with several other Raiders players.

For the Jets, LB Chaz Surratt and T Biller Turner were once again missing.

Wednesday the Raiders took the practice field preparing for their attempt at an encore against the other New York City team. And they did so with a few important players.

Most notably, they were without left tackle Kolton Miller with a shoulder injury. They were also without CB Marcus Peters with a knee injury.

Still not practicing were LB Divine Deablo (ankle) and FB Jakob Johnson (concussion).

The Jets were without LB Chaz Surratt and T Billy Turner.

Raiders vs Giants final injury report: LB Divine Deablo, FB Jakob Johnson both OUT

LB Divine Deablo and LB Luke Masterson OUT. LB Robert Spillane Questionable. Yikes.

The final injury report is out and so too are several Raiders players. Among them is linebacker Divine Deablo (ankle), LB Luke Masterson (concussion), fullback Jakob Johnson (concussion), and tackle Thayer Munford (neck).

As if it the linebacker corps wasn’t already thin, Robert Spillane is officially Questionable with an injured hand.

Last Sunday the Raiders found themselves down to Amari Burney and Curtis Bolton at linebacker. They signed Jaylon Smith this week off the Saints practice squad. It may be too much to ask him to be ready in a matter of days, so they will certainly be hoping at very least Spillane can go.

The Giants will be without former Raiders TE Darren Waller who suffered a hamstring injury last week, making his return to Las Vegas not as he had hoped.

Also OUT for the Giants is QB Tyrod Taylor and K Graham Gano.

Questionable are OL Evan Neal (ankle), OL Andrew Thomas (hamstring), and RB Jashaun Corbin (hamstring).

Raiders vs Lions final injury report: K Daniel Carlson, CB Nate Hobbs Questionable

K Daniel Carlson, CB Nate Hobbs Questionable, Divine Deablo OUT.

For the first time in a month Raiders starting nickel corner Nate Hobbs practiced this week. He was limited all week with the ankle injury that had caused him to miss the past four games and is officially Questionable for the game.

Joining him among the Questionable is kicker Daniel Carlson who suffered a groin injury just prior to last week’s game in Chicago, causing him to miss a 41-yard field goal he normally makes with ease.

Officially OUT is starting weak side linebacker Divine Deablo.

Deablo will likely be replaced by Luke Masterson.

If Hobbs can’t go, he will once again be replaced at the nickel by either Amik Robertson or Tyler Hall. If Daniel Carlson can’t go he will be replaced by recent practice squad addition, James McCourt.

Raiders vs Bears final injury report: Justin Fields, Jimmy Garoppolo both OUT

Raiders and Bears will both take the field Sunday without their starting quarterback

Sunday the Raiders and Bears will meet in Chicago, both without their starting quarterbacks.

Both teams will also be shorthanded at defensive back. The Raiders will be without cornerbacks Nate Hobbs and Jakorian Bennett while the Bears will be without safety Eddie Jackson and cornerback Terell Smith.

In total, the Bears have five players officially OUT for the game. Others include OL Nate Davis and RB Roschon Johnson.

Questionable for the Bears are OL Dan Feeney, OL Darnell Wright, and DB Jaquan Brisker.
