Former Alabama linebacker Rahsaan Evans has seen success in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans. Now, as he begins his third season in the league, he gets ejected from the game for punching a member of the Denver Broncos.
Evans, who was a 2018 first-round selection by the Titans, has been a crucial part to their defense and aided in their 2019 underdog expedition to the AFC Championship.
In his two years, the Crimson Tide product has recorded 164 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one pass deflection, a fumble recovery and a lone defensive touchdown.
There’s no doubt that he will be a contributing factor to Tennessee’s success in 2020 as they look to improve upon their impressive and unexpected 2019 season.
However, his work in the Titans’ Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos has been cut short. Evans was ejected after punching Broncos tight end Jake Butt.
