Tennessee won its fourth consecutive match Sunday, defeating Queens University of North Carolina.
The Lady Vols (4-2-1) notched a 6-0 victory at Regal Soccer Stadium. The win also represented Tennessee’s fourth straight shutout.
Tennessee outshot the Royals (0-3-3), 34-2.
The Lady Vols led 1-0 after Lawson Renie scored in the 10th (assist, Giselle Washington).
Tennessee extended its advantage to 2-0 in the 16th minute when Jaida Thomas scored an unassisted goal.
Renie’s second goal of the game took place in the 22nd minute (assist, Hannah Zaluski).
Kameron Simmonds scored in the 43rd minute to give the Lady Vols a 4-0 lead at halftime.
Jenna Stayart scored in the 81st minute. Nolyn Bartholomew scored 15 seconds before the final whistle in Tennessee’s win.
