Tyrrell Hatton may have finally found a course he likes.

He won the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on Sunday, becoming the first player to win the event three times. A day after tying the course record at St. Andrews, he birdied the final hole to top Nicolas Colsaerts by a shot and win the title.

For his efforts, Hatton will bank $800,000 out of the $5 million purse. Colsaerts, though he missed a birdie putt on the last hole, still earned $533,330 for his efforts.

Five of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Fall Series events have smaller purses in 2024 than they did last year

While the money is down a tad, the perks are the same, including a two-year exemption for winning.

The 2024 FedEx Fall Series features eight tournaments over an 11-week span, and the main point of emphasis for most of the participants is securing status for the PGA Tour’s 2025 season. As it turns out, they’ll also be playing for slightly less money overall than a year ago.

Of the eight events in the Fall Series, one is new: the Black Desert Championship in Utah. Of the seven that are back from a year ago, one will have more money on the line, another will offer the same amount as last year and five will feature lower total purses and lower winner’s checks than they did in 2023.

While the money is down a tad, the perks are the same, according to the Tour:

Tournaments in the FedExCup Fall offer winners the same benefits as Regular Season events – including a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour, 500 FedExCup points and spots in the Players Championship, the Sentry and those major championships that invite PGA Tour winners.

Needless to say, there’s still quite a bit to play for.

Here’s a closer look at the fall 2024 events and the money.

Procore Championship

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 Fortinet Championship $8.4 million Sahith Theegala $1.512 million
2024 Procore Championship $6 million Patton Kizzire $1.08 million

The lone fall event with a new name from a year ago was the Procore Championship, with its new title sponsor moving with lightning speed to get a deal done. Total purse in 2024 was $6 million – as compared to $8.4 million – and the first-place prize saw a drop of $432,000.

Sanderson Farms Championship

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 Sanderson Farms Championship $8.2 million Luke List $1.376 million
2024 Sanderson Farms Championship $7.6 million TBD $1.368 million

Wayne Sanderson Farms’ run as a full partner with Jackson and its PGA Tour event has been a historic one. However, the 2024 Sanderson Farm Championship will be the last for the company as the title sponsor of the Jackson, Mississippi, stop. While its contract runs through 2026, the company decided in August to move on as the title sponsor, but remain as a major sponsor for the tournament, which is held at the Country Club of Jackson. The purse in 2024 is down $600,000 and the winner’s check is a slight $8,000 lighter from 2024.

Shriners Children’s Open

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 Shriners Children’s Open $8.4 million Tom Kim $1.512 million
2024 Shriners Children’s Open $7 million TBD $1.26 million

Tom Kim won $1.44 million for winning at TPC Summerlin in 2022 and saw a check that was $72,000 larger for repeating in 2023. But if he three-peats in Vegas in 2024, his prize will be $252,000 smaller than a year ago.

Zozo Championship

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 Zozo Championship $8.5 million Collin Morikawa $1.53 million
2024 Zozo Championship $8.5 million TBD $1.53 million

The Zozo Championship is holding steady with its total purse and first-place prize. Collin Morikawa, who won on the PGA Tour for the sixth time in this event in 2023, has committed to the tournament in 2024. Zozo’s six-year title sponsorship deal started in 2019 and despite the event being moved to California in 2020 due to travel restrictions from the COVID pandemic, the contract will run through the 2026 tournament.

World Wide Technology Championship

2023 World Wide Technology $8.2 million Erik van Rooyen $1.476 million
2024 World Wide Technology $7.2 million TBD $1.296 million

The PGA Tour returns to the Baja California Sur peninsula for a second time this fall. The Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante Cabo San Lucas will host once again. This event will see the second-largest dip from first-place prize from – $180,000 – from a year ago.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 Butterfield Bermuda $6.5 million Camilo Villegas $1.17 million
2024 Butterfield Bermuda $6.9 million TBD $1.242 million

While the Zozo held firm, the event in Bermuda is going up with its money, the only increase among the fall events. The purse will go up $400,000 with the winner getting $72,000 more than a year ago.

RSM Classic

Tournament Total purse Winner First-place money
2023 RSM Classic $8.4 million Ludvig Aberg $1.512 million
2024 RSM Classic $8 million TBD $1.44 million

The finale of the fall campaign will see a slight dip in money, so if Ludvig Aberg were to win his second PGA Tour event in repeat style, he’d see a check $72,000 less than he did in 2023.

2024 Kroger Queen City Championship prize money payouts for each LPGA player

The first-place prize at TPC River’s Bend was $300,000.

Lydia Ko’s “surreal” stretch continued at the Kroger Queen City Championship, where the 27-year-old locked up her third official victory of the season, not including the Olympic gold medal.

Ko earned $300,000 for her efforts, giving her $2,569,317 this season and $19,512,009 in her career.

LPGA stats guru Justin Ray noted that Ko’s final-round bogey-free 63 is her 134th bogey-free round since 2014. That’s 50 more than anyone else during that span. Ko recorded only one bogey the entire week at TPC River’s Bend.

She now owns 22 LPGA career titles, the most among active players.

2024 BMW PGA Championship prize money payouts for every player at Wentworth Club

For his efforts, Horschel will bank $1.53 million out of the $9 million purse.

It was a pair of familiar faces on the PGA Tour battling it out for one of the biggest titles on the DP World Tour on Sunday.

Billy Horschel topped Rory McIlroy on the second playoff hole to win the 2024 BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England. Horschel made eagle on the par-5 18th hole to top McIlroy, whose eagle attempt slid past the right side of the hole.

Horschel birdied the hole in regulation to get into a playoff with McIlroy and Thriston Lawrence, who bowed out after the opening playoff hole, also the par-5 18th. McIlroy had a 25 footer for birdie to win it in regulation, but it missed low.

For his efforts, Horschel will bank $1.53 million out of the $9 million purse.

A $50 million purse is up for grabs at this week’s 2024 LIV Golf Team Championship

Every team gets paid this week.

The LIV Golf League is in Dallas at Maridoe Golf Club for its season finale, the 2024 LIV Golf Team Championship.

With that comes one final payday for the league’s 13 teams and 54 players, with everyone taking home some money come Sunday.

First place will earn $14 million, but each player on the winning team will take home only $1.4 million. That’s because 60 percent of a team’s winnings will go toward the team itself, and the 40 percent that’s left over will be split evenly between the players.

All in all, there’s a $50 million purse at Maridoe, where Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC are the top-seeded team and have a quarterfinal bye on Friday. Crushers GC won the team championship in 2023.

Eleven of the 13 teams will have a seven-figure payday this week.

Here’s a breakdown of the purse at the LIV Golf Team Championship.

2024 Procore Championship prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player in Napa

Patton Kizzire earned more in Napa, California, than he had in 18 previous starts in 2024.

Patton Kizzire earned more this week in Napa, California, than he had all year in 18 previous starts this season on the PGA Tour.

Kizzire shot a final-round 70 at Silverado Resort’s North Course on Sunday to claim his first victory in six years, eight months and one day at the Procore Championship. With a purse of $6 million, the tournament is the smallest they will play for during the FedEx Cup Fall but Kizzire won’t be complaining.

He banked $1,080,000 for his third career Tour title, which bumped him to more than $13.5 million in career earnings and just inside the top 160 all-time on the Tour. He passed the likes of Jose-Maria Olazabal, Trevor Immelman and Ludvig Aberg (for the time being).

Another big pay day for the Spaniard.

Jon Rahm made more than $50 million in his time on the PGA Tour, and his pockets have only gotten deeper since moving to LIV Golf.

Rahm won for the second time in three starts Sunday, capturing the title at 2024 LIV Golf Chicago at Bolingbrook Golf Club. He was brilliant on the weekend, recording no bogeys the final two rounds, and he shot 4-under 66 on Sunday to win by three shots over Joaquin Niemann and Sergio Garcia.

In addition to the $4 million Rahm receives for his win Sunday, he also clinched the season-long individual championship and the $18 million prize that comes with that. In his 12 events, Rahm’s worst finish was T-10.

2024 FM Championship prize money payouts for each LPGA player at TPC Boston

The first-place prize at TPC Boston this week was $570,000.

The inaugural FM Championship features a $3.8 million purse, the largest of any event on the LPGA’s 2024 schedule outside of the five majors and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.

The first-place prize at TPC Boston this week was $570,000, which was claimed by Haeran Ryu after she survived a long day, a two-hour weather delay and a playoff against Jin Young Ko.

Another perk of this event was a $1,000 stipend for all those who missed the cut to help cover expenses.

There was a lot of bonus money up for grabs at the season finale.

Scottie Scheffler had a season for the ages.

The 28-year-old won the 2024 Tour Championship on Sunday, shooting 4-under 67 in the final round to finish at 30 under for the week, four shots in front of Collin Morikawa. The win was his seventh on the PGA Tour in 2024, the first player with seven victories in a season since Tiger Woods in 2007.

With the win, Scheffler earned $25 million in bonus money, adding to the almost $30 million he earned in official money through the regular season. In fact, everyone who played this week in the Tour Championship had a solid payday.

2024 BMW Championship prize money payouts for each PGA Tour player at Castle Pines

Bradley making the BMW field turned out to be worth $3.6 million.

What a week it was for Keegan Bradley in Colorado.

He was the last man in the 50-player field at the 2024 BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club. He’s leaving with the trophy.

Bradley secured his seventh PGA Tour victory Sunday, shooting even-par 72 to win by one shots over Ludvig Aberg, Adam Scott and Sam Burns. It’s Bradley’s first win since the 2023 Travelers Championship and is a big key for him moving forward if he wants to earn a spot on the 2024 U.S. Presidents Cup team, where he is already an assistant captain.

For his win, Bradley will take home $3.6 million from the $20 million purse. And he’s not the only one going home with a lot of money.

Here’s a look at how much each of the players in the 50-man field with no cut earned at Castle Pines.
