On Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. PST / 4:30 p.m. EST, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will chat with President Barack Obama for an Instagram Live session.
The discussion between the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player and the 44th President of the United States will focus on themes from Obama’s recently released memoir “A Promised Land.”
The live conversation featuring the duo will be the first Instagram Live discussion to take place on Obama’s Instagram account (@BarackObama). The star-studded Instagram Live will also be featured on Curry’s account (@StephenCurry30).
In March, Curry hosted a segment with Dr. Anthony Fauci on Instagram Live, concentrating on common questions about the coronavirus pandemic. During Curry’s Q&A period with Fauci, Obama was one of the many viewers watching.
Curry and the former President have worked together on a variety of events in the past. The 32-year-old sharpshooter has linked up with Obama for his “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative. In August, the six-time All-Star shared a happy birthday message for Obama on Instagram.
The Instagram Live with Curry and Obama is slated to go for 30 minutes.
