Trail Blazers at Pelicans: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Trail Blazers 126, Pelicans 121

Money line (ML)

The TRAIL BLAZERS (+125) are a great value as short ‘dogs in the Big Easy, as they enter on a five-game win and cover streak. The offense hasn’t skipped a beat despite the fact McCollum and Nurkic remain on the shelf, as they have averaged 125.0 PPG across the past three, including road wins at Oklahoma City and Dallas.

The Pelicans (-150) won last time out in Memphis, 144-113, but they have dropped three of the past four and shouldn’t be favored here.

Against the spread (ATS)

The TRAIL BLAZERS +2.5 (-105) have cashed in five in a row against the number, and they’re 9-2 ATS across the past 11 games overall. The Pelicans -2.5 (-115) have struggled, going just 1-3 SU/ATS across the past four, and defense has been a big part of their issues. They’re allowing 114.1 PPG this season to rank 23rd in the NBA. Portland will roll up plenty of offense in the win.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 232.5 (-110) has cashed in six in a row for New Orleans, and they have allowed 123 or more points in three of the past four. Portland has hit the Over in three of the past four, averaging 120.8 PPG on offense across the past four, while allowing 111.5 PPG. They’re scoring plenty, and allowing plenty. Look for an easy Over result despite a rather high number.
