Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are filled with ominous stakes, and sealed vaults. If you’re asking “what are the stakes all about?” then it’s possible that you just haven’t progressed through the game enough quite yet – but they’re part of a new puzzle, one that will result in you gaining access to the Treasures of Ruin, a brand new quartet of Legendary Pokémon.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet titan order: The best way to tackle the Path of Legends

There are five titan Pokémon for your to take down in Scarlet and Violet, and you’re going to want to take them down as soon as you can. Completing each one gives you new movement options for Koraidon/Miraidon, letting you get to new places and explore the world much more efficiently. However, they’re not the easiest beasts to take down, and if you rush to do all of them straight away you’ll be outmatched almost immediately.

Players have a fix for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s performance issues

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet performance issues mar the experience for many, but some fans think they found a solution

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet performance issues have some wishing that the latest in the monster-catching RPG series had been delayed a bit longer, but one fan may have found a temporary fix to the games’ many woes (thanks GamesRadar). Chief among the problems is a persistent issue where the games just don’t load their assets right away, resulting in delayed pop-in and odd situations such as not recognizing a Pokemon mount, so it looks like your character is flying through the air while sitting down.

One fan, infamous Pokemon leaker CentroPokemon, believes many of these problems stem from a substantial memory leak issue. Memory leak occurs when a system fails to release data that is no longer needed and clogs up the RAM, which can no longer load new assets efficiently.

CentroPokemon said if you reset your game – save, close the software, and then restart it – after entering a town, where most of these issues start happening, it temporarily fixes the problem. It will inevitably occur again, but resetting should resolve the memory leak issue again for a time.

What it likely won’t fix are the bugs causing crashes and freezes, which are also plaguing players and seem to occur more frequently when weather effects are active or when a Pokemon is evolving.

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have yet to acknowledge Scarlet and Violet’s performance issues, so whether the development team has a patch to fix some or all of these issues remains uncertain at this point.
