Ravens players give Mark Ingram loving farewell on social media

NFL players and teammates took to social media to thank Baltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram for his time with the Ravens.

Running back Mark Ingram was waived by the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, ending a two-year run with the team. And based on the send-off both the team and his former teammates gave him, it’s clear Ingram meant a lot to a lot of people.

Ingram took to Twitter to thank the organization, fans, and his teammates for supporting him. It didn’t take long for Ingram’s former teammates to show him the love in response. Check out the parting messages that teammates and other players put on social media:

Ingram’s passion for the game was evident whenever he stepped on the field. The way he mentored the Ravens backs while his role was diminished showed how much of a leader and team player he was. The veteran will certainly be looked at by teams before the 2021 NFL season begins. Wherever he lands, Ravens players and fans will certainly be rooting for him.

Chiefs players react to signing of RB Le’Veon Bell

Jones, Mahomes and Saunders react to Bell’s decision to sign with the Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a new running back. The team officially welcomed free agent RB Le’Veon Bell on social media. The entire Chiefs Kingdom is excited about landing Bell, including some of his newest teammates. Several Chiefs players took to Twitter in order to share their excitement, welcoming Bell to the team.

Of course, Bell’s offseason training buddy, Chris Jones was the first one to tweet out in excitement. Jones has been recruiting Bell to the Chiefs since he first became a free agent ahead of the 2019 season. Jones is finally going to get a chance to play with one of his good friends. While he might not play on the defensive side of the ball with Sack Nation, you know that he’s excited about the opportunity to play on the same team as Bell.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes also welcomed Bell to the team. Mahomes played it sly during his press conference this morning, but you know that he advocated for bringing Bell to Kansas City. After all, the two players followed each other on Twitter shortly after the news surrounding Bell’s release broke.

For Chiefs DT Khalen Saunders, he was most impressed with the job done by GM Brett Veach to bring Bell to Kansas City. It is pretty crazy the amount of talent that Veach has been able to bring in and keep on this team.

It’s hard to imagine the Chiefs’ offense getting anymore dynamic than it already was. Bell adds another weapon to an already potent group of playmakers. It’s easy to see why his new teammates are excited to have him on board as they attempt to run it back and win Super Bowl LV.

Chiefs players react to Harrison Butker’s clutch game-winning field goal

The legend of Harrison Butker grows as his teammates celebrate his epic game-winning kick against the Chargers.

The Kansas City Chiefs secured a come-from-behind victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, but it wouldn’t have happened without some clutch moments from kicker Harrison Butker.

Butt-kicker dot com, as Andy Reid calls him, nailed the chip shot to send the game to overtime. That was just the tip of the iceberg for Butker, though. With the game on the line, the veteran kicker made a 58-yard field goal after being iced twice, once by a penalty, and a second time by a timeout. He showed that he was made of sterner stuff and wouldn’t be denied from the uprights.

After the game, Butker’s teammates took to Twitter to react to his legendary moment. First came the reactions from a pair of players who didn’t make the trip to Los Angeles.

Rankin is on the PUP list and Saunders is on injured reserve. They both knew all along that Butker was going to nail these. Then came the comments from the teammates who were on the field with him.

You have to have ice in your veins to do what Butker accomplished.

The rookie cornerback L’Jarius Sneed came away impressed with his kicker after Week 2.

Watts calls it like he sees it.

Mahomes put in a lot of the leg work to mount the comeback win, but he’s glad to see Butker take the glory. In the end, so long as the team wins, that’s all that matters for this group.

Chiefs players react to selection of LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Several Chiefs players expressed excitement over their newest teammate on Twitter.

Players on the Kansas City Chiefs have a new teammate and his name is Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The running back out of Louisiana State was one of the premier running backs in the country in 2019, helping his team to a win in the national championship game.

Edwards-Helaire is shift, tough as nails and can defeat any type of coverage in the passing game. He’s another weapon in the already powerful Chiefs offense and that prospect has some of his new teammates very excited.

Patrick Mahomes posted the ever-famous, Shaquille O’Neal wiggle GIF and some grinning emoji faces. Adding a player that is coming off of a 17-score season means that the offense is getting all the more difficult to defend. Mahomes knows just how exciting this player will be in his offense.

Tyrann Mathieu, a former LSU Tiger himself, is excited for another alumnus to join the team. Edwards-Helaire will also join a familiar face in Darrel Williams in the Kansas City running back room.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman wasn’t too quick to congratulate his new teammate and instead was confused about why one of his old ones wasn’t selected in the first round of the draft. He later clarified that he has no problems with the Chiefs’ pick.
