Class of 2025 commit moves up in recruiting rankings

Pierce Mooberry continues to see his stock increase.

Nebraska football four-star commit Pierce Mooberry climbed the On3 recruiting rankings on Monday, moving from 225th to 186th.

According to the rankings, Mooberry is the 186th-ranked player nationally, the 20th-ranked linebacker and the top player in his class from the state of Nebraska. He committed to the Huskers on June 8.

Mooberry has been a key defensive player for a Millard North team that is 2-1 after beating Papillion-LaVista South, 31-8.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Mooberry’s stock rises, especially if he finishes the 2024 season strongly. Matt Rhule and the Nebraska coaching staff have made it a point to keep the top talent in-state and Mooberry certainly fits that bill.
