[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) and the Baltimore Ravens (8-4) meet Sunday for a Week 14 matchup at M&T Bank Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we look at Eagles vs. Ravens odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Eagles roughed up the LA Rams on Sunday night in Week 12, winning 37-20 on the road to easily cover as a 3-point favorite as the Over (48.5) cashed. RB Saquon Barkley set a career high with 255 rushing yards.

The Eagles have won 7 games in a row, while covering 5 of the past 6 outings. The Over has a 3-2 edge in the past 5 contests. Against the AFC, Philly is 3-0 straight up (SU), but just 1-2 against the spread (ATS).

The Ravens held off the LA Chargers 30-23 on Monday night, bouncing back from an 18-16 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers in the previous game. The Ravens have won 4 in a row at home, while going 2-1-1 ATS, since inexplicably losing the home opener to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. The Over is 7-1 in the past 8 outings.

Eagles vs. Ravens head-to-head

The Ravens lead the all-time series 3-2-1

The Ravens picked up a 30-28 victory in the most recent meeting in 2020 in Philadelphia. Baltimore also won the most recent meeting at home in 2016, posting a 27-26 win. In fact, the past 3 meetings have been decided by a total of just 4 points, or an average of 1.33 points per game.

Philadelphia will be making its fourth-ever appearance in Baltimore, at least when it comes to facing the Ravens. The Eagles have never won, although they did tie 10-10 in a 1997 game between QBs Bobby Hoying and Vinny Testaverde.

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Baltimore Ravens welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to M&T Bank Stadium Friday for preseason opener for both teams. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (NFL+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Eagles vs. Ravens odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Eagles finished 11-6 last season, good for 2nd in the NFC East. They lost 32-9 in the playoffs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Philadelphia drafted CB Quinyon Mitchell in the 1st round at No. 22. The Eagles are led by QB Jalen Hurts, and their big offseason addition was star RB Saquon Barkley, who is unlikely he sees action Friday.

The Ravens, who finished atop the AFC North a season ago at 13-4, are led by 2-time MVP QB Lamar Jackson. Baltimore added RB Derrick Henry and also beefed up its defense by taking Clemson CB Nate Wiggins in the 1st round. The Ravens lost 17-10 in the AFC Conference Championship to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Eagles at Ravens picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 17, Eagles 14

Moneyline

BET RAVENS (+100).

The Ravens are at home and should have the better skilled-position backups. Players like WR Russell Gage and RB Justice Hill could be in on numerous drives, and QB Josh Johnson has experience as well.

The Ravens had the No. 1 defense in the NFL last season and bulked that up even further in the draft. They should be able to use even their backups to create an impact in this game. The Eagles have a few quality backups like QB Kenny Pickett as well, but he proved to be an inefficient option for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season.

With numerous injuries to backups in the secondary, the Eagles may go further into their players just vying for a spot on the 52-man roster. Expect the Ravens to take advantage and back RAVENS (+100).

Against the spread

PASS.

Given the odds on the Ravens to win this game outright, that’s the preferred route. The Eagles aren’t worth a play here.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 34.5 (-110).

Neither team has backups who have proven capable of sustaining drives at the NFL level. Pickett struggled last season despite having a rock-solid defense, and Johnson has a career 58% completion rate.

He hasn’t performed well when given the opportunity either. With both defenses having been strong a season ago and both having been fortified in the 1st round, back UNDER 34.5 (-110).

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens NFL preseason odds and lines, with expert NFL picks and predictions.

The defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles (0-0) head to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens (0-0) Saturday at 7 p.m. ET (NFL Network). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Eagles vs. Ravens odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

In the 1st preseason game for both teams, do not expect many fireworks. If recent seasons count for anything, most of the starters for Philadelphia and Baltimore will be on the bench far before the 1st-quarter horn sounds.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts will only see 1 series and the same will be done with Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson. The biggest story of this game will be if the Ravens can win their 24th consecutive preseason game—an NFL record.

Eagles at Ravens picks and predictions

Prediction

Ravens 20, Eagles 16

Moneyline

With the RAVENS (-225) owning an NFL-record streak of 23 straight preseason wins, expect John Harbaugh to win yet another one here.

The Eagles are looking to defend their NFC title and will use this as just another practice. The Eagles are the better team, but Baltimore will be the ones looking to win here. So, if you must wager, parlay it with another game and take the ML.

Against the spread

PASS.

Baltimore should win, but 5 points is too much to wager on.

Even if the Eagles do not come out to play, they do not want to be embarrassed. The margin of victory in this game could be anywhere from a FG to a TD, so do not risk trying to figure that out.

Play our free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 35.5 (-110)

According to The Action Network, 68% of preseason games with a total of less than 37 have hit the Over since 2000.

With so many 2nd-string players involved, the offenses should be better than the defenses. This means a few extra points could be scored in this showdown. Do not make it a large play, but any play here should only be on the OVER 35.5 (-110).
