2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship Thursday tee times, PGA Tour pairings and how to watch

The purse in Bermuda is $6.9 million with $1.242 million going to the winner.

The PGA Tour is heading to Bermuda, and there are only two chances left for players to lock up their cards ahead of the 2025 season.

The 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship gets underway Thursday at Port Royal Golf Club, and it’s a place where numerous players hovering around 125th in the FedEx Cup standings are doing everything they can to stay above that number with only two events left in the season. The island nation in the Atlantic Ocean is small, but the stakes are enormous this week.

Camilo Villegas is the defending champion of the Butterfield Bermuda. Port Royal, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that opened in Southampton, Bermuda, in 1970, ranks 28th on the Golfweek’s Best Top 50 courses in Mexico, Caribbean, Atlantic islands and Central America.

The purse at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship is $6.9 million with $1.242 million going to the winner. The winner will also receive 500 FedEx Cup points.

The purse is $7.5 million with $1.35 million going to the winner.

This week, the PGA Tour is in Utah for the 2024 Black Desert Championship at Black Desert Resort. It’s the first time the Tour has made its way to Utah since 1963.

The players in the field at the inaugural event are raving about the par-71 layout playing 7,371 yards that ranks No. 1 in Utah on Golfweek’s Best list of public-access courses, No. 26 among all resort courses in the U.S. and No. 81 among all modern courses in the country.

The merchandise tent is up and running and will only get better in years to come but for those on site, one of the best things there is the view of the course off the deck. Want a better look at the challenges the Tour pros are facing this week? Check out the yardage book.

The purse at the 2024 Black Desert Championship is $7.5 million with $1.35 million going to the winner. The winner will also receive 500 FedEx Cup points
