How to watch 2025 4-star WR Taz Williams’ commitment announcement

2025 4-star WR Taz Williams Jr. is set to announce his collegiate destination on Saturday

On Saturday, July 13, one the more underrated wide receiver prospects in the 2025 recruiting cycle will announce his commitment in front of his friends, family, coaches, and teammates, as 2025 4-star WR Taz Williams Jr. will choose between Penn State, Michigan, SMU, and Texas A&M.

One of the more significant decisions he will make in his young life, Williams, like five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi, took an official visit to College Station on June 6, followed by consecutive weekend visits to Penn State and Michigan, as the Nittany Lions are currently slight favorites to earn his commitment.

For those looking to watch his announcement, Williams released everything you need to stream the event, which will be available on Rival’s YouTube page in front of everyone in attendance at Red Oak’s high school Gym.

On the field, Williams is coming off his productive 2023 junior season, during which he recorded 80 receptions, 1,251 yards, and 14 touchdowns through the air. Heading into the weekend, all three finalists are virtually tied, while Penn State holds a slight advantage.

According to 247Sports Composite, Williams is currently ranked 275th in the 2025 cycle, 38th wide receiver, and 41st in Texas.

Where do the Aggies land in Rivals’ Top 5 linebacker class rankings?

After landing 2025 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins, Texas A&M is currently one Rival’s Top 5 linebacker classes in the cycle.

It’s early, but so far, new Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has begun to check several boxes, including hiring a formidable coaching staff while already landing three prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, including 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins, 4-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway and 4-star running back Deondrae “Tiger” Riden.

With a focus on defense, Elko’s elite pedigree should do wonders for the current players on the roster, led by incoming sophomore linebacker Taurean York, who looks to further develop under the new regime. Sticking to linebacker, York is the present and the future, but to feel good going into 2025, landing two or three LB prospects is a must.

However, with Riggins fully committed, 2025 4-star linebackers Elijah Barnes and Riley Pettajohn remain the program’s premier targets, landing in both players’ respective Top program lists last month.

Even with just one linebacker commit, the Aggies, according to Rivals, are already one of the top teams positionally rankings-wise, landing in the Top 5 2025 LB classes. Here are the four teams they joined.
