The Falcons scored a season-low three points last weekend at the Dallas Cowboys, getting trucked 43-3. While Atlanta is 1-2 SU/ATS across the past three games, at least they’re 2-0 SU/ATS this season vs. AFC East teams with the Over hitting in each outing.

Patriots (-290) will cost you nearly three times your return. That’s just too expensive. Last Thursday night’s upset by the Miami Dolphins of the favored Baltimore Ravens should serve as a cautionary tale.

Against the spread
The PATRIOTS -6.5 (-110) have been playing very good football lately, looking like the contender we’ve known for the better part of the past two decades. New England “should” be able to win this one by at least one touchdown, but that’s always risky business on the road, so go lightly.
Over/Under
The UNDER 47.5 (-115) is the play here. It’s all about the Under lately in Thursday night tilts, going 7-1 across the past eight games. The short week is tough, and scoring is at a premium with the quick turnaround. Take advantage, and ride the trend hard.
