The UFC has added [autotag]Parker Porter[/autotag] (10-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. [autotag]Josh Parisian[/autotag] (13-3) to the lineup for the event. No location or name designation has been announced for the event at this time.

MMA Junkie confirmed the booking with two people with knowledge of the situation. The people requested anonymity because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Porter, a CES MMA and Bellator veteran, was stopped by Chris Daukaus in his UFC debut last week. Winner of two of his past three, eight of Porter’s 10 career wins have come via stoppage.

The third time was the charm for “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 28 alum Parisian, who finally earned a UFC contract when he took out Chad Johnson in Round 1 at Dana White’s Contender Series 29 earlier this week. It was his second stint at DWCS, and this time a win secured him a contract.

With the addition, the latest Nov. 28 lineup includes:

  • Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis
  • Norma Dumont vs. Ashlee Evans-Smith
  • Josh Parisian vs. Parker Porter

MMA Junkie obtained the full list from the Nevada Athletic Commission on Monday. Fighters can return sooner than the duration of their suspension if cleared by a doctor.

Miocic (20-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) and Cormier (22-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC) had a grueling five-round fight in the headliner of the event at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with Miocic keeping the belt. A second-round eye poke on Cormier apparently tore his cornea, and that’s one of the issues “DC” will need checked out post-fight. Miocic, meanwhile, needs hie eye examined, too.

Outside of the main event, bantamweight prospect [autotag]Sean O’Malley[/autotag] (12-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) faces the longest medical suspension. He hurt his leg in a first-round TKO loss in the co-main event, and will need his ankle cleared, otherwise he’s out until February 2021.

The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy.

Under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers, which appropriate the money generated by Reebok’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC, fighters are paid based on their total number of UFC bouts, as well as Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2007 and later) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts (April 2011 and later). Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-5 bouts get $4,000; 6-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000.

In addition to experience-based pay, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.

Chris Daukaus vs. Parker Porter added to UFC 252

A pair of of debuting heavyweights will meet at next week’s UFC 252 in Las Vegas.

[autotag]Chris Daukaus[/autotag] was expected to challenge for the CFFC heavyweight title next week. Instead, he’ll be making his UFC debut against fellow newcomer [autotag]Parker Porter[/autotag].

MMA Junkie today confirmed with multiple people with knowledge of the booking that Daukaus (8-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Porter (10-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have agreed to meet at next week’s UFC 252, which takes place at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Daukaus, the older brother of UFC middleweight Kyle Daukaus, was expected to headline next week’s CFFC 82 event in Philadelphia in a rematch with current CFFC heavyweight champ Shawn Teed. Instead, he’ll make his UFC debut on a little more than one week’s notice. Daukaus comes to the UFC with a record of 6-1 in his past seven contests, with the lone loss in that stretch coming to UFC and Bellator veteran Azunna Anyanwu.

Meanwhile, Porter has been competing professionally since 2007, including a pair of appearances under the Bellator banner and four fights for CES MMA. Eight of his 10 career wins have come via stoppage, and Porter is currently 4-1 in his past five appearances.
