The Carolina Panthers are back at home this week to face another division rival. They’ll be hosting Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are fresh off an embarrassing loss in prime time to the New Orleans Saints.
According to the latest odds at BetMGM, Carolina has opened as a six-point underdog for this week’s matchup.
These teams played back in Week 2 and it started with a disaster. The Panthers fell behind 21-0 thanks to a couple of early turnovers by Teddy Bridgewater, who was still getting into a rhythm with his receivers at the time. The team rallied and made it interesting down the stretch, though. Ultimately, they lost, 31-17. A lot has changed since that game and Carolina will be playing at home this time around. An upset is certainly not out of the question.
