It may have been a slow start to the season for Will Richardson and the Oregon Ducks, but they are certainly getting things going in the right direction when they need to.
After a 9-6 start to what was initially thought of as a promising year, Richardson’s stellar play over the past couple of weeks has spurred Oregon to a five-game winning streak, which included consecutive wins over AP top-five teams in No. 3 UCLA and No. 5 USC.
With such stellar play, Richardson has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week yet again. Richardson was given the honor earlier this month, on January 3rd after notching a career-high in points vs. Utah. Richardson is now coming off of another career-high, this time putting up 28 points against USC.

Current predictions have the Ducks making it into the tournament, and if they can keep this impressive role going, their seed will surely improve. While Richardson is getting the awards, the play of Jacob Young, N’Faly Dante, and Eric Williams has also helped the Ducks a tremendous amount.
