Bowl Projection Roundup: Where each Pac-12 team is slotted to play after Week 13

A look at where the Pac-12 teams are slated to play in the postseason after Week 13 of the 2023 season.

The regular season has come to an end in the world of college football, and it’s brought with it a lot of finality. We know who is bowl-eligible and who is not, and we know that in reality, the Pac-12 Conference has seen its end, with the final game of existence coming on Friday night between No. 3 Washington and No. 5 Oregon.

That’s given us a lot of clarity as we look ahead to the postseason, trying to figure out which bowl games each team might be in line for, and who is going to be sitting at home and getting a jump on the offseason.

While there are still some things left to be decided, we’ve got a pretty good idea of who is going where.

Here’s the final bowl projections for Pac-12 teams of the 2023 season:

A look at where the Pac-12 teams are slated to play in the postseason after Week 11 of the 2023 season.

With just two weeks left in the regular season, we are starting to see some spots in conference championship games get clinched, and a much clearer outlook on the bowl season be placed before us.

In the Pac-12, everything is coming into focus, and a lot will be decided over the next few days with both the Oregon Ducks and Washington Huskies having an opportunity to clinch their spot in the conference title game with wins this weekend — and a little bit of extra help for the Ducks.

Looking forward, there is starting to be more consensus across the nation when it comes to predicting where each team will land in the postseason, whether it’s in the College Football Playoff, a New Year’s Six Bowl, or another postseason game. Here’s a snapshot of projections heading into Week 12 of the season.

Bowl Projection Roundup: Where each Pac-12 team is slotted to play after Week 7

We’re getting to the portion of the season where Pac-12 schools start to beat up on each other, and not in a manner that we were expecting.

While it was fair to believe that the winner of Washington vs. Oregon, and UCLA vs. Oregon State would stand tall as two of the best teams in the conference, I’m not sure that anyone was expecting a comeback win from Stanford over Colorado, while Arizona got a blowout win over Washington State. Meanwhile, USC suffered an embarrassing 48-20 loss to Notre Dame.

We knew that this would happen at some point, but it’s interesting to see how the upset losses in the conference have had an impact on the bowl game projections throughout the league. Here’s where all teams are projected to play in the postseason after Week 7 of the season:

We are just about to the midway point of the 2023 college football season, and it’s become pretty clear the Pac-12 continues to hold an incredibly strong position in the national landscape.

There are three conference teams ranked inside the top 10 and six inside the top 25. A couple of the teams at the top — Oregon and Washington — are receiving some serious buzz for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Luckily for all of us, those two teams will play each other in Week 7 after a bye week.

As for the rest of the schools in the conference, there are also some high expectations remaining. Here is where everyone is slated to play in the postseason after Week 5 of the season.

Bowl Projection Roundup: Where each Pac-12 team is slotted to play after Week 4

ESPN has a Pac-12 team playing for the national championship, while other projections have numerous Pac-12 teams playing in New Years Six bowls.

It’s going to be interesting how the national view of the Pac-12 Conference shifts over the coming weeks. With four weeks of the 2023 season behind us, there is little argument against the idea the Pac-12 is the best conference in the nation. It has six teams in the top 25 and four in the top 10.

However, conference play is underway, and the Pac-12 loves to beat up on itself. Already we’ve seen Washington State knock off Oregon State, and Oregon knock off Colorado. As we go further, games between Oregon and Washington, USC and Utah and Washington State and UCLA will add dings to certain teams’ resumes.

Will the overall view of the conference stay the same, though?

That’s what will be interesting to watch. For now, though, it’s clear the teams in the Pac-12 are viewed as highly as any in the nation, and that’s been made clear by the bowl projections after Week 4. Here is a look at where all of the teams out west are projected to play in the postseason after the 2023 regular season.

Bowl Projection Round-Up: Where each Pac-12 team is slotted to play after Week 2

We knew going into this season that the top of the Pac-12 Conference would likely be as strong as it ever has been in recent memory. We didn’t quite expect the middle tier of the Pac-12 to be as good as it has been so far, though.

While there are currently eight Pac-12 teams in the Associated Press Top 25, more teams than that are projected to stick around and be bowl eligible once the year comes to a close as well. While the top teams out west are fighting for potential spots in the College Football Playoff, or a New Years’ Six Bowl, there’s a good chance that well over half of the conference ends up playing somewhere this postseason.

Here is where every Pac-12 school is projected to play their bowl games after Week 2 of the college season.

Way-too-early Pac-12 bowl projections and College Football Playoff predictions

Yes, it’s early, but we’re taking a stab at predicting all the Pac-12 bowls and College Football Playoff picks for 2023.

The 2023 college football will feature the end of the Pac-12 as we know it. With conference realignment on everyone’s mind, it’s a good reminder that this will be the last season that both the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins will be a part of the conference before jetting off east to the Big Ten.

Fortunately, it is also shaping up to be one of the best Pac-12 seasons we’ve seen in a long time, with schools like Oregon, USC, Washington Utah, Oregon State, and UCLA all expected to rank inside the top 25. There’s a good chance that multiple teams will find themselves inside the top 10 at some point in the year, and the Pac-12 will more than likely be able to end their College Football Playoff drought as well.

Already this offseason, we’ve looked at all of the schedules in the conference and tried to predict outcomes for everyone involved, but now we wanted to look a little bit further and predict the bowl game matchups as well.

Keep in mind the scenarios are very complicated with bowl tie-ins and contractual preferences for teams that have not been involved in certain locations, so we do our best to track it all.

Here’s how we see things playing out before spring ball gets going across the Pac-12.

Pac-12 Bowl Matchups: Where all eligible teams will be playing this post-season

The Pac-12 had one of the best years in recent memory. So where will the bowl-eligible teams be playing this postseason?

Any which way you want to look at it, the Pac-12 had one of the best seasons that it’s seen in recent memory. While there were five teams in the conference that ended the year non-bowl eligible, the other 7 teams all will be playing on this December, with 6 of those teams ranking among the best in the nation.

With Uta, USC, Oregon, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon State all ranking inside the top 25 in the nation, it was a big resurgence for the Pac-12, which is a Power 5 conference that has recently been viewed as one of the worst in the nation.

So where will we see all of these bowl-eligible teams playing later this month? Take a look at the newly released bowl matchups:

With a potential spot in the College Football Playoff now open out west, the Pac-12 bowl projections have seen a bit of a shuffle.

There’s a reason that they play the games on the field, and there’s a reason that we do this exercise each and every week.

Last weekend, the college football world was turned upside down as three of the top six teams in the nation suffered shocking upsets, with No. 1 Tennessee, No. 4 Clemson, and No. 6 Alabama all going down. This has had a sort of ripple effect throughout the nation, which can particularly be seen in the bowl projections throughout the ranks.

Oregon Ducks in the College Football Playoff? Some are predicting it. USC in the Rose Bowl? UCLA in the Cotton Bowl? Depending on where you look, you can find it all.

As is the case every week, we’ve done the leg work for you and tried to gather an array of predictions from different sites. Take a look:

Oregon to the Rose Bowl? USC to the Alamo Bowl? The latest Pac-12 bowl projections are in after a wild week in the conference.

Last weekend was a big one in the Pac-12 Conference, with arguably the best team in the West, USC, falling down the power rankings after a loss to the Utah Utes. We also had California take a loss to the Colorado Buffs, who earned their first win, as well as Stanford going on the road to beat a disappointing Notre Dame team. The Oregon State Beavers, meanwhile, played the role of cannibals with a win over Washington State.

It certainly provided a bit of a shake-up in the bowl game projections for the conference, and we will assuredly see another one this weekend with No. 9 Oregon hosting No. 10 UCLA, both of whom were on byes last weekend.

Whether you’re at the top of the Pac-12 conference and getting some buzz when it comes to the College Football Playoff, or you’re a middling team who is going to be fighting hard to get to six wins and become bowl eligible, we’ve got you covered. If you want to see where the other teams are predicted to land, we’ve done the leg work for you and tried to gather an array of predictions from different sites. Take a look:
