Massive list of blue-chip recruits set to arrive in Eugene for visits this week

A trio of 5-stars and over a dozen 4-stars all expected in Eugene this week. The latest updated list of Oregon Duck visitors.

The month of June has quickly become one of the most important times of year in the world of recruiting for college football programs. While the thick of the offseason is in full swing, we get a chance to see coaches and staff host some players from across the nation for both official and unofficial visits.

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have been incredibly busy over the past couple of weeks, hosting some of the top-rated players in the nation. That doesn’t look to be changing any time soon, as another long list of prospects is set to flock to Eugene over the coming days and into the weekend for more visits. We are expecting to see both some of the top committed players in Oregon’s 2024 class take their official visits, as well as some of the best uncommitted players in the nation, including multiple 5-star players in the 2024 and 2025 classes.

Here is a full list of player who we have confirmed will be in Eugene at some point this week or this weekend:

Recruiting Party: Most star-studded visitor list in UO history comes together for spring game

Nine confirmed 5-star players on the visitor list, and a long list of 4-stars expected as well. An all-time recruiting weekend coming for the Ducks.

Since Dan Lanning came to Eugene and took over as the head coach of the Oregon Ducks less than two years ago, we’ve started to see an upward trend when it comes to high-profile recruiting visits.

There have been certain weekends over the past year, be it for a regular season game, the annual spring game, or a big-time recruiting weekend in the offseason, where we’ve seen a loaded group of players flock to Eugene, with a handful of 5-stars and numerous high-end 4-stars coming to check out the Ducks.

It’s looking like the visitor list for this weekend’s spring game is going to trump all previous visitor lists.

Over the past several months, high-profile prospects have been declaring that they’re coming to Oregon to check out the campus and facilities at the end of April, resulting in a group of 7 5-stars, and numerou 4-stars expected to be in attendance.

While it may not immediately result in commitments from some of the top guys, there is no arguing the fact that Lanning’s ability to get these marquee players on campus means nothing but good things for the program.

Here’s a list of who is expected over the next several days.

Recruiting Party: Expected visitors for Oregon Ducks before dead period and signing day

There are some big names on Oregon’s visitor list this weekend, and some buzz about massive late additions as well.

As we continue to speed towards the end of the early recruiting cycle and watch while college football teams make their final push for prospects that they hope to land on or before early signing day, one last weekend of visits is upon us.

With the recruiting dead period starting on Sunday, December 18, this weekend gives coaching staffs one last opportunity to get players on campus for visits, potentially landing a commitment before the early signing period starts on December 21.

For the Oregon Ducks, it’s shaping up to be an incredibly star-studded weekend.

With multiple reports out there that Nike co-founder and Oregon mega-booster Phil Knight will be on campus this weekend, we can expect the Ducks to pull out all of the stops as they try to make a splash in the recruiting world and sign a standout class on Wednesday.

We already know of several players who will be on campus, and we are looking to confirm a few more as the weekend approaches. Here is an updated list of players who will be in Eugene.

Updated visitor list for Oregon Ducks’ second massive recruiting weekend in Eugene

No time to rest on the recruiting trail for the Ducks. Oregon is set to host another star-studded group of prospects this weekend.

The Oregon Ducks are coming off of one of the biggest recruiting weekends that they’ve had in years, and there’s no time to rest — another big one is on the calendars.

While last weekend saw 5-star players like DL David Hicks and WR Johntay Cook II in Eugene spending time with Dan Lanning and the Oregon coaching staff, there is another guest list full of highly-rated recruits on the menu. Guys like Matayo Uiagalelei, Richard Young, and Jayden Wayne are all scheduled to make return trips to Eugene, while a number of other 4-star players will be coming to see the facilities as well.

Though it is still a star-studded guest list, the Ducks were actually scheduled to host even more talent over the coming days than will actually be in attendance. Last week, 5-star OT Kadyn Proctor — who was scheduled to be in Eugene on June 24 — announced that he was cutting his recruitment down to just the Alabama Crimson Tide and Iowa Hawkeyes, and canceling his remaining official visits. 5-star ATH Samuel M’Pemba also announced that he would be pushing his visit to Oregon back as well.

Despite that, it’s still going to be a big weekend for the Ducks, and the visitor list will undoubtedly grow over the coming days. Here’s who is scheduled to visit at the moment:
