Oregon Signing Day: Ducks land 4-Star OL Demetri Manning

The Oregon Ducks have officially landed 4-star OL Demetri Manning, who signed his letter of intent in the Early National Signing Period.

If this was two years ago with the Washington Huskies riding high on success, this recruit might have been a Dawg instead of a Duck.

But Oregon has quite the history of snagging the best players out of the state of Washington and out of the hands of the Huskies. Offensive lineman Demetri Manning is just the latest.

At 6-foot-7 and 336 pounds, Manning is already a formidable presence to say the least. Out of Bellevue, Wash., Manning was recruited by nearly everyone on the West Coast. He visited Washington on May 31, came to Eugene a week later and finally committed on June 11. Here’s some more info on Manning, and what he brings to Eugene.

Demetri Manning Position Outlook

It’s rare that you see true freshmen come to Eugene and contribute right away, especially on the offensive line. More likely than not, Manning will end up redshirting and try to work his way into the rotation in 2026.

Oregon Ducks Offensive Line Depth

When it comes to offensive line depth, the Ducks are in a very good position. With the hopes of Josh Conerly coming back for a senior season, Oregon could field yet another stellar group in 2025.

Center Iapani Laloulu will be back as will Dave Iuli, who missed much of 2024 due to a leg injury. Ajani Cornelius and Marcus Harper move on, however, but the Ducks have the likes of Charlie Pickard and Trent Ferguson to fill those spots. Genorris Wilson and JacQwan McCoy will also receive big looks at camp. This might be the deepest the offensive line has been in a long time.

Oregon Ducks’ 2025 Class Outlook

Going into the Early Signing Period, the Ducks expected to sign a third-straight top-10 ranked class assuming that all players verbally committed to Oregon would put pen to paper. So far, that has been the case. There are a couple of flip targets out there who Lanning and his staff are still working to get into the fold. If any more additions come to Oregon, there’s a chance that the Ducks could put together another top-5 class under Lanning’s watch.
