The No. 1 Oregon Ducks (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) go on the road to face the Wisconsin Badgers (5-4, 3-3) Saturday. Kickoff from Camp Randall Stadium in Madison is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (NBC). Below, we look at Oregon vs. Wisconsin odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

The Ducks continued their undefeated season with a 39-18 home win over Maryland Saturday, but they failed to cover the 24-point spread as favorites. Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel broke Case Keenum’s NCAA career TD record, finishing the day with 180. Gabriel — in his 6th NCAA season after 3 years at UCF and 2 at Oklahoma — threw 3 TDs in Saturday’s win vs. Maryland. His career TDs include 147 passing, 32 rushing and 1 receiving. Keenum, who played for Houston 2007-11, held the recent mark of 179.

The Badgers are coming off a bye. They were outplayed in their last game 42-10 as 2.5-point underdogs at Iowa Nov. 2 for a second consecutive loss. The defense allowed 329 rushing yards to the Hawkeyes, while the offense kicked a field goal on its first possession for a 3-0 lead but didn’t score again until the fourth quarter once the game was out of hand. QB Braedyn Locke completed 15 of 29 passes for 137 yards and the fourth-quarter TD, while throwing 2 picks.

Oregon vs. Wisconsin head-to-head

The series is tied 3-3 with Oregon winning the last 3 contests.

Oregon, new to the conference, won the first meeting 22-10 at home in 1977.

They met in the Rose Bowl twice, which happens to be the last 2 head-to-head matchups. The Ducks had to rally in both of those bowl games for the win.

Oregon prevailed 28-27 in Pasadena in 2020 as QB Justin Herbert scored on a 30-yard run with 7:41 to go for the final score — Wisconsin covered as a 3-point underdog.

In the 2012 Rose Bowl, Oregon won 45-38, scoring the final 10 points — all in the final quarter for the W — and covered as a 4-point favorite.

The Badgers are 2-0 at home vs. the Ducks, winning 27-23 in 2000 and winning 22-19 in 1978.

The No. 1 Oregon Ducks (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten) welcome the Maryland Terrapins (4-4, 1-4) to Autzen Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET (Big Ten Network). Below, we look at Maryland vs. Oregon odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

The Ducks had a few narrow wins to start the season but have been rolling ever since. They are coming off a 38-17 victory as 14.5-point favorites at the Michigan Wolverines Saturday with the Over (45) hitting. Oregon’s most impressive victory was a 32-31 home win over the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes Oct. 12. The Ducks are led by Heisman candidate QB Dillon Gabriel, who has 2,665 passing yards (6th-best in the country) with 19 touchdown passes (tied for 13th) in 9 games.

Maryland is coming off a bye, which followed a 48-23 setback as a 6-point underdog at the Minnesota Golden Gophers Oct. 26 in Week 9 — the host Gophers hit the Over (45) by themselves. The Terrapins have struggled recently, winning just 1 of their last 4 games. They are 1-3 against the spread (ATS) as favorites and 2-2 ATS as underdogs. The Terrapins have been a one-man operation behind QB Billy Edwards, who has thrown for 2,314 yards (ranking 14th) with 13 TDs in 8 games.

Maryland vs. Oregon head-to-head

The Ducks and Terrapins have never played. This will be a first with the Ducks having joined the Big Ten Conference before the season.

The Terrapins technically have more national championships (one) than the Ducks (zero). Oregon has had success in its first Big Ten season, starting 6-0 in conference play.

While the Terrapins have had solid teams over the last few seasons, they are just 1-4 in conference play this year and have struggled immensely. Maryland has played two road conference games and has been outscored 90-51.

Illinois vs. Oregon head-to-head

Given the Ducks are in their 1st season in the Big Ten, a conference Illinois has been in for quite some time, there isn’t a lengthy history between these programs.

They have met just 3 times with Oregon taking of 2 of 3. However, they haven’t faced each other since 1995 when the Ducks won 34-31 at home. The other 2 games were hosted by Illinois with the Nittany Lions winning 13-7 in 1993 and the Fighting Illini winning 20-16 in 1970.

With the Big Ten expanding its base and adding Oregon, Washington, UCLA and USC, expect this battle to gain steam in the coming years as they start to consistently play each other.

The 2nd-ranked Oregon Ducks (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) travel to meet the unranked Purdue Boilermakers (1-5, 0-3) Friday at Ross-Ade Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. (FOX). Below, we look at Oregon vs. Purdue odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Oregon edged then-No. 2, now-No. 5 Ohio State 32-31 in a titanic clash at Autzen Stadium this past weekend, covering as a 3.5-point underdog. It was Oregon’s first cover at home, and it improved to just 2-4 against the spread (ATS) on the season. The Over was also the first in 3 games for the Ducks, who are 3-3 O/U overall.

Purdue lost a heartbreaking 50-49 game at Illinois in overtime Saturday, but it easily cashed as a 22.5-point underdog as the Over (47.5) also comfortably hit. It’s the second straight Big Ten game Purdue has allowed 50 points, and that’s an ominous sign with Oregon coming to town.

The No. 7 Oregon Ducks (3-0) travel to Pasadena to face the UCLA Bruins (1-2) at the Rose Bowl Saturday. Kickoff is 11 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Oregon vs. UCLA odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Oregon dominated the “Civil War” on Saturday against the Oregon State Beavers, cruising to a 49-14 victory over their former conference rival. The Ducks’ offense was firing on all cylinders, piling up 546 total yards.

Heisman hopeful QB Dillon Gabriel was nearly flawless, completing 20 of 24 passes for 291 yards and 2 TDs, with 110 of those yards going to WR Tez Johnson. RB Jordan James chipped in with 86 rushing yards and 2 scores.

UCLA couldn’t get it done in Death Valley, losing 34-17 to LSU. Two costly turnovers and a nonexistent run game (only 14 rushing yards total) were their undoing. QB Ethan Garbers put up 281 yards and 2 TDs while connecting with 9 receivers, but his solid performance wasn’t enough to keep up with the Tigers.

Boise State kicked off their season with a bang, picking up a 56-45 win on the road against Georgia Southern. The defense had a rough outing, giving up 461 yards and allowing 29 points in the 2nd half. But the offense was on fire, racking up 651 yards. Boise State at Oregon picks and predictions

Prediction

Oregon 42, Boise State 24

Moneyline

PASS.

Obviously, it is never a smart bet to take -910, which is why you should focus on the spread for this game.

Against the spread

BET BOISE STATE +18.5 (-110).

Oregon is definitely the stronger team heading into this matchup and will likely play even better than in Week 2. But Boise State showed some serious potential in their opener and has been solid against the spread lately. While the Ducks should manage to secure a win at home, Boise State’s powerful running game is set to keep things competitive. Expect Oregon to win, but Boise State to cover the spread.

Over/Under

BET OVER 60.5 (-106).

Boise State has been hitting the Over regularly, doing so in their last 4 games and 7 of their last 10. They dropped 56 points in Week 1 against Georgia Southern, so they clearly know how to find the end zone.

As for Oregon, their offense might’ve stumbled a bit in Week 1, but that’s likely just shaking off the rust. With a Heisman hopeful running the show, they’re bound to get back on track. In their 3 meetings with Boise, the total has gone Over twice, both times surpassing 60 points. Expect plenty of scoring in this game.

Idaho at Oregon odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Idaho at Oregon odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The No. 3 Oregon Ducks welcome the Idaho Vandals to Autzen Stadium Saturday for the season-opening game for both programs. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (Big Ten Network). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Oregon vs. Idaho odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Vandals had a strong 2023 season, finishing 9-4 and tied for second in the Big Sky. Despite a solid start and a playoff win, they fell to Albany in the FCS quarterfinals. This season, Idaho faces a rebuilding phase on offense after losing key players, though they do return 5 starters. On defense, the Vandals bring back 8 starters, making that unit a strong point for the team this season.

The Ducks are coming off a 12-2 season, which included a 2nd-place finish in the Pac-12. Following a 34-31 loss to Washington in the Pac-12 title game, Oregon dominated Liberty 45-6 in the Fiesta Bowl. This year, Oregon retools its offense behind QB Dillon Gabriel, who transferred in from Oklahoma, and returns standout WR Tez Johnson, setting up a potent passing attack. While the defense lost some key players, it should still hold up well against Big Ten competition.

Idaho at Oregon picks and predictions

Prediction

Oregon 56, Idaho 13

Moneyline

PASS.

No moneyline was offered and you wouldn’t bet it even if there was one. Look to the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET IDAHO +44.5 (-110).

Oregon might be the clear favorite, but Idaho’s a solid FCS team that shouldn’t be overlooked. Sure, the Ducks blew out Portland State in last season’s opener 81-7, but Idaho should give them more of a challenge.

Both teams lost some key offensive players, and while Oregon reloaded, a 44.5-point spread still feels too high. The Ducks will win, but once they ease up, the Vandals should cover.

Grabbing Idaho and the points seems like the better move.

Over/Under

BET OVER 62.5 (-110).

Even though the Ducks have cashed Under tickets in 9 of its their last 13 games, their offense is explosive, ranking 2nd in the nation last season with 44.2 points per game.

Idaho averaged a solid 32.3 points per game. With both teams capable of putting up big numbers, the Over looks like the way to go.
