NBA Twitter reacts to Thunder’s 62-point win over Blazers: ‘Blazers finally got some media attention’

Here’s how NBA Twitter reacted to the Thunder’s ridiculous 62-point win over the Blazers.

The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Portland Trail Blazers in every single way on the court Thursday night, eventually beating them 139-77.

The Blazers suffered the fifth-worst loss in NBA history, and Twitter had to react to it.

NBA Twitter reacts to Chet Holmgren’s 16-13-7 game vs. Cavs: ‘Rookie of the Year’

Here’s how NBA Twitter reacted to Chet Holmgren’s second career NBA game.

The OKC Thunder stunned the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-105 on the road, with Chet Holmgren posting an impressive stat line in his second NBA game.

He finished with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and seven blocks, and NBA Twitter rightfully overreacted.

Join Riversport OKC for these 13 outdoor adventures

It’s time for adventure.

The North Canadian River used to flood Oklahoma City. So, in the 1950s, the Corps of Engineers redirected the flow, leaving a dry ditch.

“We used to joke that we mowed the river two or three times a year,” said Mike Knopp, executive director of Riversport, a nonprofit foundation encouraging people to get active outdoors. “You stayed away from the river. It was right through the heart of town, so it did a lot to divide the community.”

But since a $53.5 million project brought back seven miles of river in 2004, the renamed Oklahoma River has become a major draw for local and international athletes. The enormous Riversport complex is at the heart of this shift. “We wanted to infuse a more active outdoor culture in OKC,” Knopp said. “We don’t have an ocean. We don’t have mountains. So we wanted to try to create these experiences.” On a hot July day, I experienced Riversport. Here are 13 adventures you can try with Riversport OKC.

Prediction

Celtics 113, Thunder 111

Moneyline (ML)

The Celtics (-176) are expected to win this one on their home court, but laying more than two times your potential return is not a good way to bet. My personal maximum on the moneyline is -170 to -180, and even that’s pushing it. AVOID.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Celtics -176 returns a profit of just $4.50 if they win. A $10 bet on the Thunder +145 returns a profit of $14.5.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The THUNDER (+4.5, -115) have covered seven of their past 10 trips to Boston, and they’ll be in good shape to do so again. They covered a 1 1/2-point spread as underdogs in a 112-111 loss to Boston at home on Feb. 9. Expect another close battle in this one, too.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 219.5 (-106) has cashed in four of the past five meetings in this building. While the under is 3-0 in the past three for Boston against Western Conference opponents, the total went Over in the first game between these two clubs back in early February.

It’s tough to take Overs in Boston games, as they rank second in the NBA with 106.8 PPG allowed, and they’re fourth in defensive field goal percentage (44.1) and second in defensive 3-pointer % (34.1). Oklahoma City is coming off a 126-point effort in New York, and they’re fifth in field goal % at 47.4. This won’t be a track meet, but it will inch Over.
