Ohio State has parted ways with women’s lacrosse coach Amy Bokker according to a release from the Ohio State Department of Athletics.
Bokker came to Columbus after nine years at Stanford with a lot of promise and a fantastic resume in June of 2019, but managed to guide the Buckeyes to just a 23-32 overall record during those four years, including a 6-18 record in the Big Ten. Her contract was through the 2024 season but she will not be retained to fulfill that final year.
For her part, Bokker released a statement of gratitude through the release from the university.
“I want to thank Gene Smith and the Ohio State University for this opportunity,” Bokker said. “My family and I have enjoyed being a part of this spirited community during these past four years. I wish future success to the student-athletes and the program.”
