Now the two will do battle again at 6:30 p.m. EST Tuesday evening with both on three-game winning streaks, and both sitting tied for fourth place at 5-3 in the league.

And now, for those of you that are into these sort of things, we have the line out on the game as well. According to BetMGM  OSU is favored by 4.5 points over the Boilermakers.

It’s a game that both teams will want to win to continue the forward momentum and slight separation from other teams in the league. One game will potentially make a huge difference in the final standings in such a tough conference.

Ohio State basketball vs. Purdue: How and where to watch and listen to the game Tuesday

Ohio State basketball takes on Purdue at Value City Arena on Tuesday. Here’s all the information you need to watch or listen to the game.

Coming off a big win on the road against the Fighting Illini this past Saturday, Ohio State will be welcoming Purdue to Value City Arena for their second matchup of the year on Tuesday.

The Boilermakers got the best of OSU back in December in West Lafayette by a score of 67-60. The Buckeyes went cold in the second half against Purdue, shooting less than 30 percent from the field and beyond the arc. It’s hard to beat a team if you can’t put it in the bucket.

Both teams come into this contest riding three-game winning streaks and both sit tied in conference play with 5-3 records. The Buckeyes should have a slight advantage as they are undefeated at home and the Boilers journey to Columbus with just a 2-4 record on the road.

Watch what Purdue head coach Matt Painter said about Ohio State after the game

Purdue handed Ohio State its first loss of the season in both teams’ Big Ten basketball opener. Watch what Matt Painter said after the game.

The Ohio State basketball team went on the road in the Big Ten to open conference play and lost a defensive Donnybrook to Purdue 67-60. It was a typical Big Ten game that had a lot of contested shots, physical play, and a ton of defense.

In the end, Ohio State simply did not have the firepower to go up against the size and physicality of Purdue. The Boilermakers took control of the game late in the first half and never surrendered the lead the rest of the way.

Purdue head coach Matt Painter met with the media on a Zoom call after the game and had discussed what he saw from his team and out of Ohio State. In case you missed any of his comments about the Buckeyes, we have them all for you thanks to the Journal Courier.

Ohio State will next be in action on Saturday against UCLA in the CBS Sports Classic. Tip-off is set for 4:15 p.m.

Three things we learned in Ohio State’s loss to Purdue in Big Ten basketball opener

Ohio State went on the road for its first Big Ten game of the season and fell to Purdue 67-60. Here are three things we learned in defeat.

It was always going to be an uphill climb for Ohio State to go on the road and beat a pretty good Purdue team without your team’s best scorer and rebounder, and that’s exactly what played out. The Boilermakers took control of the game late in the first half and stayed in front until the end, winning 67-60 Wednesday night in West Lafayette.

It was a prototypical Big Ten slugfest, with a low-scoring, defensive affair that Purdue was able to grind out. We saw some good things from Ohio State, but there were also plenty of teaching moments that head coach Chris Holtmann will have for the team in tape review.

With the loss, the Buckeyes drop to 5-1 and now must get back up off the mat and play through a rough and tumble Big Ten season that will test them every night.

Here are three things we observed from the loss.

Ohio State basketball vs. Purdue: How and where to watch and listen to the game

Ohio State is all set to host Purdue in a key Big Ten matchup. We’ve got all your television, streaming, and radio information right here.

It’s time to embark on another war of attrition known as Big Ten basketball. There are no easy games, and it’s no different this time around for Ohio State with the Purdue Boilermakers coming to town.

The Buckeyes has won four of the last five, but that won’t mean much if they can’t hold serve at home, where every loss gets magnified in a conference so deep. Purdue is in a similar situation as the OSU; in the tournament field for now, but ever-so-close to sliding down to bubble territory with a loss or two that must be avoided at all costs.

The Boilermaker are at .500 in the league, while Ohio State is trying to get back to that mark to continue an upward climb.

We know you’re interested and want to watch the fireworks Saturday between these two, and in case you need the broadcast information, or how to find it on the radio, we have you covered on the next page.
