Ohio State basketball vs. Michigan State: How to watch and listen to the game Thursday

Ohio State travels to East Lansing to take on the Spartans and look to rebound from a loss to Michigan.

In a conference as tough as the Big Ten, teams have to have a short memory. Ohio State is coming off a back and forth affair which saw it fall to No. 3 Michigan this past Sunday by five points.

It might be easy to think that the road gets a little bit easier facing Michigan State which finds itself uncharacteristically in the bottom half of the Big Ten standings. However, the Spartans have put together an impressive two-game stretch which includes an upset over No. 4 ranked Illinois earlier this week.

Ohio State dominated MSU with a 17 point victory over the Spartans in late January at Value City Arena. It’s safe to say the Spartans will have a little more confidence coming into this one after the upset win over the Illini.

The Buckeyes need to be ready for a slugfest as Michigan State is fighting for its NCAA tournament life.

We know you’re ready for some more Buckeye hoops action, and we have everything you need to know to find the game Thursday.

Ohio State basketball vs. Michigan State: How and where to watch and listen to the game Sunday

Everything you need to know to watch or listen as Ohio State faces Michigan State on the hardwood in a key Big Ten basketball contest.

In a battle of teams going in opposite directions, Ohio State will host Michigan State in a conference matchup Sundat at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes have won back-to-back games, while Sparty has lost two in a row.

The Spartans are licking their wounds after a thorough beating at the hands of Rutgers on Thursday evening. The Scarlet Knights came away with a 30 point victory and held Michigan State to a season-low of 37 points. You’d have to go all the way back to 2008 to see a Tom Izzo team score less than 40 points in a game.

To be fair, Michigan State was coming off a two-week hiatus due to COVID concerns and may have been a little rusty. However, the Spartans are not living up to their pre-season hype with a top 15 ranking and now sit at 2-5 in Big Ten play.

Even though the Buckeyes are a sizable favorite, Ohio State will need to play better than the Wednesday showing against Penn State to come out with a win over Sparty.
