2023 U.S. Open odds, course information and picks to win at Los Angeles Country Club

Scheffler’s last two U.S. Open finishes: T-2 (2022) and T-7 (2021).

The third men’s major championship of the season is here as the best players in the world have made their way to Los Angeles Country Club for the 2023 U.S. Open.

After outlasting Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris at The Country Club outside Boston last year, Matt Fitzpatrick enters the week as the defending champion. The Englishman most recently tied for 20th at the RBC Canadian Open.

World No. 1 Scheffler is the betting favorite at +700, followed by Jon Rahm at +1100 and Brooks Koepka at +1200.

Cam Smith at 30/1 has the best odds to host the trophy of any LIV golfer in the field.

Top 10 betting favorites for the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club with current form, past finishes

Scheffler is the favorite at +750.

Two majors are in the books, with Jon Rahm capturing the green jacket at the Masters in April, and Brooks Koepka claiming his third Wanamaker trophy and fifth major at the PGA Championship.

Next up, the U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club in California.

Shockingly, world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the favorite at +750, followed by No. 2 Jon Rahm at +900 and PGA champ Brooks Koepka at +1200.

Scheffler tied for second at Oak Hill while Rahm struggled, tying for 50th.

One of the public’s favorite picks to win at LACC, Max Homa, is +2000 to take home the hardware. Homa has won six times on Tour, four of those coming in his home state of California.

Heisman Trophy betting odds for 2023 college football season

You have $20. Who are you betting on to win the award?

There is no bigger individual trophy in sports than the Heisman Trophy.  Maybe it’s the fact that the actual trophy is one of the coolest looking in all of sports and has seen countless players strike its pose over the years, but no award at any level gets the same attention as the Heisman.

Who will win the award in 2023?

Caleb Williams of USC looks to become the second two-time winner in the long history but plenty of others will have a say.

Could [autotag]Sam Hartman[/autotag] go from star transfer to ending Notre Dame’s drought of not having a winner since 1987?

Or could a non-quarterback altogether rise up and snatch the award?

Here are the odds to win the 2023 Heisman Trophy according to FanDuel:

2023 RBC Canadian Open odds, course information and picks to win

Who’s your pick in Canada?

With the year’s third major on the horizon, it’s time to head north of the border for the RBC Canadian Open.

Rory McIlroy, who tied for seventh at Jack’s Place last week, has claimed the last two titles of this event. In 2019, he won at Hamilton Golf & Country Club, and last year he outlasted Justin Thomas and Tony Finau at St. George’s.

The ’23 edition will be held at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Toronto.

McIlroy is the overwhelming betting favorite at +500, followed by Tyrrell Hatton at +1100.

There are several Canadians in the field, including Corey Conners, Mackenzie Hughes, Adam Svensson and Adam Hadwin.

5 prop bets and position plays for the 2023 Memorial Tournament, including Rory McIlroy or Xander Schauffele to win at +550

McIlroy has back-to-back top 20s at the Memorial, and Schauffele hasn’t finished outside the top 20 since Bay Hill.

After a week in the Lone Star State, the PGA Tour is in Dublin, Ohio, for the 2023 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village.

The field is loaded and features the top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking: Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.

Scheffler enters as the betting favorite at +600 followed by Rahm at +750 and Cantlay — who’s a two-time Memorial champion — at +1000.

Billy Horschel is the defending champion thanks to his four-shot win over Aaron Wise last season.

There are a few players taking the week off, including Tony Finau and Max Homa. Players are allowed to miss one designated event this season.

Here are five prop bets and position plays for the 2023 Memorial Tournament.

Theegala finished 5th at last year’s Memorial.

The field at this week’s Memorial Tournament is stacked. The top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking — Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele — are all set to tee it up come Thursday morning.

Rahm won this event in 2020 while Cantlay has claimed the title twice, 2021 and 2019. Billy Horschel is the defending champion thanks to his four-shot win over Aaron Wise last season.

Scheffler is the betting favorite at +600 followed by Rahm at +750 and Cantlay at +1000.

Who’s your pick to win at Jack’s place?

The best players in the world have made their way to Jack’s place in Dublin, Ohio, for the 2023 Memorial Tournament.

Muirfield Village will host an absolutely stacked field, including the top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking — Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele. Rahm won this event in 2020 while Cantlay was claimed the title twice in 2021 and 2019.

Billy Horschel, who tied for 40th at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week, enters as the defending champion. The Florida Gator bested Aaron Wise by four shots last season for his seventh PGA Tour title.

Scheffler, unsurprisingly, is the betting favorite at +600 followed by Rahm at +750.

Michael Block has better odds to finish inside top 40 at Charles Schwab Challenge than several PGA Tour winners, including Kevin Kisner, European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald

Will you be betting on Block this week at Colonial?

The People’s Champion, Michael Block, had the best week of his life in Rochester, New York, at the PGA Championship. The 46-year-old shot rounds of 70-70-70-71 to finish in a tie for 15th, good enough for an automatic invitation to the 2024 PGA at Valhalla.

However, that won’t be the next time we see Block.

The PGA pro was invited to this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, moments after finishing his final round at Oak Hill. Block was also given a spot in the RBC Canadian Open at Oakdale Golf and Country Club slated for June 8-11.

More Charles Schwab betting: Expert picks, odds

As for this week at Colonial, Block has better odds to finish inside the top 40 than Tour winner Kevin Kisner and European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald. Block sits at +275 to top 40, while Kisner and Donald are +280.

To win, however, Block is +50000. Meaning if you were to place a $100 wager on Block to claim the trophy come Sunday, you’d win $50,100 ($50,000 plus your original $100).

Not a bad payday.

Colonial should fit Block’s game well. It’s not about distance at the John Bredemus/Perry Maxwell design, it’s about plotting your way around.

And if he can putt as well as he did at Oak Hill — sixth in SG: Putting (+1.545) — he should have a chance come Friday afternoon to make the weekend.

Plus, a top-40 bet on Block feels like the right thing to do after what he gave the golf world last week.

2023 Charles Schwab Challenge odds, course history and picks to win

Before an MC at the PGA, Sungjae Im had two top-10 finishes in his last two stroke-play starts.

After a week in Western New York for the PGA Championship, the PGA Tour heads back down to the Lone Star State for the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

Sam Burns, who missed the cut by a wide margin at Oak Hill, is the defending champion after taking down Scottie Scheffler in a playoff in 2022. Scheffler, however, is the heavy betting favorite at +400. The next closest is Jordan Spieth at +1200.

Spieth didn’t complete the career grand slam last week, but he did play well enough to tie for 29th despite some concern about his wrist. The Texan has finished in the top 10 of this event in seven of the last eight years.
