There have been a ton of NBA players doing a lot to boost national morale during this surreal time we’re living in.
Many of them have been paying arena worker’s salaries for the rest of the season and paying for people to get access to tests. They’ve done a lot to try and make the situation better than it is — even if it’s just a little bit.
One of the players included in that is Stephen Curry. First, he did an informative Q&A session with Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is the top doctor on the White House’s coronavirus task force.
Now? He’s calling nurses up and thanking them for their efforts in helping people battle this thing.
Shelby Delaney, an Oakland nurse who is a huge Warriors fan and who wears his jersey under her scrubs, got a surprise video call before her shift in the ICU at Summit Medical Center. It was Steph.

“I love it. I can’t thank God enough for what you’re doing and just the sacrifice, the selflessness and the way everybody’s coming together. Thank you so much for what you do, your heart and the inspiration you provide for everybody.”
