Alabama basketball is playing the school’s second big game of the day after the Crimson Tide football team beat the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game by a score of 41-24, but after that one, all eyes were on Nate Oats and his Alabama hoops squad.
The No. 16 Crimson Tide is up against arguably the best team in basketball in Gonzaga, currently ranked third in the AP Poll. They are giving the Bulldogs everything they can handle so far through one half.
The Crimson Tide has been led by Jaden Shackelford in a big way, he has 20 points and has shot 6-for-7 from three-point range as Alabama leads the Bulldogs 51-23 at the half.
Alabama has shot 48% from the floor, including 43% from 3PT range.
They’ve allowed 44% shooting from Gonzaga, just 28% from three, as the Zags have only hit two three-pointers throughout the game.
With one half remaining, the Tide is in a great position to take another big win on the day!
