Kaden Honeycutt will drive the No. 45 truck full-time for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Truck Series for the 2025 season.

[autotag]Kaden Honeycutt[/autotag] has received a promotion at [autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag]. On Tuesday morning, Niece Motorsports announced that Honeycutt will drive the No. 45 truck full-time for the organization in the NASCAR Truck Series during the 2025 season. In 2024, Honeycutt has impressed with two top-5 finishes and five top-10 finishes in 10 starts.

The 21-year-old driver has been part-time in the Truck Series over the last three seasons and finally earns a full-time opportunity for 2025. Honeycutt has displayed elite speed throughout the 2024 season, which is proven by his two fourth-place finishes at Kansas Speedway. Niece Motorsports was obviously thrilled by his performances thus far.

This is an outstanding opportunity for Honeycutt, who, based on his performances this season, should be in the mix to make the 2025 Truck Series playoffs. It has been a down year since Carson Hocevar left Niece Motorsports, but Honeycutt will help lead the charge as the organization looks to return to victory lane soon.

Johnny Sauter returns to Niece Motorsports for Truck race at Texas

Niece Motorsports announced on Monday that Johnny Sauter will drive the No. 45 truck in the Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

[autotag]Johnny Sauter[/autotag] is no longer full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series; however, at 45 years old, that doesn’t mean he will stop racing soon. On Monday afternoon, [autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] announced that Sauter will drive the No. 45 truck in this weekend’s NASCAR Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The former ThorSport Racing driver competed in the Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway earlier in the season and did well. Sauter led 24 laps and had a truck capable of winning; however, he was involved in a crash and finished in 29th place. Now, Sauter gets another opportunity for Niece Motorsports as he searches for his first win since 2019.

Sauter still has the talent to compete in the Truck Series, but the grind of a full NASCAR schedule is hard for a driver at 45 years old. Perhaps the 2016 Truck Series champion will race in even more events moving forward. Sauter can still race for wins, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see the No. 45 truck for Niece Motorsports in victory lane at Texas.

[autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] is rounding out its NASCAR Truck Series diver lineup for the 2024 season. On Friday morning, Niece Motorsports announced that Ross Chastain, Johnny Sauter, Kaden Honeycutt, and Connor Mosack will split the No. 45 truck in 2024. Sauter will start the NASCAR season by driving the entry at Daytona International Speedway.

Veteran crew chief Phil Gould will lead the No. 45 team as Niece Motorsports pursues an Owner’s Championship with the entry. Most notably, Chastain will drive the No. 45 truck at Circuit of the Americas, Darlington Raceway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, Pocono Raceway, and Lucas Oil Raceway. Honeycutt and Mosack’s specific races were not announced.

Honeycutt will serve as the primary driver with a 12-race schedule that starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Based on the other drivers’ schedules, there would be five races open for Mosack in the No. 45 truck. Niece Motorsports has two full-time drivers, Bayley Currey and Matt Mills; however, this stacked rotation may be the team’s best chance at the Owner’s Championship.

Johnny Sauter joins Niece Motorsports for NASCAR Truck Series race at Daytona

Johnny Sauter joins Niece Motorsports to drive the No. 45 truck in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

[autotag]Johnny Sauter[/autotag] is returning to the NASCAR Truck Series. On Friday morning, [autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] announced that Sauter will drive the No. 45 truck in the Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The 45-year-old driver hasn’t competed at Daytona since 2022 when he drove the No. 47 truck for G2G Racing.

No other races were announced for Sauter, but it represents a good opportunity for him to win another NASCAR race in his part-time career. Sauter hasn’t been full-time since the 2021 Truck Series season with ThorSport Racing and has competed in nine races over the last two seasons. None have come with Niece Motorsports.

Sauter will join Bayley Currey and Matt Mills as his teammates at Niece Motorsports for the Truck Series race at Daytona. If Sauter does well at the superspeedway track, maybe he could return for another event sometime throughout the season. Either way, seeing Sauter behind the wheel for a competitive organization is good for race fans.

Niece Motorsports’ 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season in review

Niece Motorsports had a good year in the NASCAR Truck Series. Here, you can check out the NASCAR team’s 2023 season in review!

[autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] entered the 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season with optimism that it could compete for a championship, and they did just that with Carson Hocevar. The No. 42 team made the Championship 4 but didn’t have enough speed at Phoenix Raceway despite winning four times in 2023. Hocevar’s run came to an end after being wrecked by Heim.

It was a very successful season for Hocevar as he brought Niece Motorsports to eight wins in its history. The organization entered the year with four victories. As for Lawless Alan, he only found the speed for one top-10 finish, while other drivers, such as Ross Chastain and Bayley Currey, earned five top-5 finishes in the No. 41 truck.

In 2024, Hocevar will be replaced by Matt Mills, while Currey will become a full-time driver for the organization. Niece Motorsports has elevated the careers of multiple drivers and no one should expect any different in 2024 and beyond. It may take a year or two, but Niece Motorsports should be back on top sooner rather than later due to its stellar equipment.

Bayley Currey to join Niece Motorsports for 2024 NASCAR Truck Series season

Niece Motorsports announced on Thursday afternoon that Bayley Currey will drive the No. 41 truck during the 2024 NASCAR season.

[autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] announced on Thursday afternoon that [autotag]Bayley Currey[/autotag] will drive the No. 41 truck on a full-time basis in the NASCAR Truck Series starting in 2024. Currey has competed in 10 races for Niece Motorsports during the 2023 season and has run well with three top-5 finishes, four top-10 finishes, and a 13.7 average finishing position.

The 26-year-old driver is having his best Truck Series season to this point with a best finish of fourth place at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Currey has never been full-time in the Truck Series but has run full-time before in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with JD Motorsports in 2022. Now, he will have the best full-time equipment in his career to this point.

Overall, this is a good move for both Currey and Niece Motorsports as the two have gelled well during the 2023 season. Currey has shown enough speed and success to suggest that he could make a run for a playoff spot. As for Niece Motorsports, they will line up Currey next to Matt Mills as Carson Hocevar makes the move to the NASCAR Cup Series with Spire Motorsports.

Matt Mills joins Niece Motorsports in NASCAR Truck Series for 2024 season

Niece Motorsports announced on Thursday morning that Matt Mills will drive the No. 42 truck on a full-time basis starting in 2024.

The news of Carson Hocevar joining Spire Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series created an opening in one of the best trucks in the NASCAR Truck Series. Hocevar will leave the No. 42 truck for Niece Motorsports vacant after the 2023 season as the team chases a Truck Series title. However, a replacement has already been announced by the organization.

[autotag]Niece Motorsports[/autotag] announced on Thursday morning that [autotag]Matt Mills[/autotag] will drive the No. 42 truck on a full-time basis in the Truck Series starting in 2024. Mills has never been full-time in the Truck Series but ran well in his select starts with Kyle Busch Motorsports. Most notably, the 26-year-old driver finished in fifth place at Richmond Raceway.

Mills also drove full-time for B.J. McLeod Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in previous years but this will certainly be his best opportunity yet. The No. 42 truck has proven to be one of the best in the field and could bring Mills to new levels on the race track. Overall, this is a solid move for both sides as Niece Motorsports will get a look at Mills as a driver.
