In game one between Troy and Boston College, the bats were hot as the Trojans unexpectedly defeated the Eagles 11-10. In game two, Jim Jarvis of Alabama delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to break a 3-3 tie and give the Tide a 4-3 win over Nicholls.
