Todd McShay is a staple of NFL Draft coverage, but cannot cover the 2020 NFL Draft as he is recovering from coronavirus.
ESPN’s Todd McShay has become a household name for his yearly draft coverage. Unfortunately, for the first time since 2009, McShay will not be joining the ESPN draft coverage as the 2020 NFL Draft kicks off on Thursday night.
McShay revealed to the media on draft day that he will be at home recovering from Coronavirus.
McShay joined ESPN back in 2006 and has been a leading draft analyst since.
This news only adds to the already extraordinary “virtual draft” that is taking place for the first time ever.
Draft coverage is still set to begin at 7:00 (p.m. EST), with the first pick taking place an hour later at 8:00 (p.m. EST). For the first time ever ESPN and NFL Network will be apart of a combined simulcast of draft coverage, that you can watch on ESPN, NFL Network, or ABC.
Our thoughts and well wishes go out to McShay and his family.
