Kirk Cousins is in the COVID protocol, and no other quarterback has thrown a pass for the Vikings this year.

Mannion will be serviceable, but the Packer defense has been fantastic at forcing takeaways over the last few weeks with four against Cleveland and three against both Chicago and the Rams.

The Dallas defense is doing something right.

It’s not great against the high-powered attacks, and Kansas City’s  offense is the only good one since taking down Minnesota on Halloween. Even so, it has 14 takeaways in the last four games 19 in the last seven.

Houston won’t run the ball. The 49ers had big problems early in the year against the run, but that all stopped over the last several weeks – they haven’t allowed more than 90 rushing yards in six of their last seven games.

Yeah, it should be the Trey Lance show, but he should be close to ready to roll. He’s not going to be Aaron Rodgers right aways with his accuracy, but he’s good on the move and he only has one pick in his 48 attempts.

Houston’s defense came up with a good first half against the Chargers last week, but it’s struggling against the run – it’s been rocked on a regular basis before the LA game – and the season-high 189 yards on the ground last week were an aberration.

Along with the injury problems, COVID has ripped through the team with 13 players are least questionable going into the. The secondary and lines are taking the biggest hit, and Justin Herbert is about to take advantage.

It might have been a brutal loss to a bad Texan team last week, but Herbert was able to throw for well over 300 yards to try keeping up after the defense collapsed.

Why Las Vegas Will Win

The Raiders might not be scoring a whole lot, but the defense picked a great job to start playing its best stretch of the season.

It stuffed the Denver running game last week, it stopped the Cleveland ground attack the week before, and now the team is 4-0 when allowing fewer than 90 yards.

Indianapolis will come up with more than 90 on the ground, but if the Raider defensive front can keep from getting gouged, the offense should be able to take care of the rest – the passing game should be enough against a defense that gives up the second-most touchdown passes in the league.

Why Indianapolis Will Win

Las Vegas isn’t scoring.

Yeah, it won its last two games and it’s been able to manufacture ways to get by, but the O has stopped.

Vegas has failed to score more than 17 points in seven of its last eight games. The Indianapolis defense has struggled against teams that can throw touchdown passes, but it hasn’t allowed more than 17 points in five of its last six games.

This is going to be a grind, but Carson Wentz is expected to be back and out of the COVID protocol.

What’s Going To Happen

Indianapolis will struggle a wee bit.

The offense doesn’t need to do too much to put this away early, but it’s going to have a tough time getting Jonathan Taylor going.

The defense won’t allow much of anything with the suddenly revamped Vegas ground game, and it’ll take the ball away at least twice.
