The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t the only NFL team in Pennsylvania struggling with dramatic wide receivers. The Philadelphia Eagles, who will host the Steelers in Week 15, are struggling to keep some of their behind-the-scenes drama contained between teammates WR A.J. Brown and QB Jalen Hurts.
When asked what specific issues led to the near-loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 14, Brown was quick to throw his QB under the bus: “Passing,” he responded shortly to reporters.
Respected Eagles veteran Brandon Graham joined Spike and Howard Eskin of SportsRadio 94WIP and minced no words when touching on the situation: “The person that’s complaining needs to be accountable. I’m just being honest.” Graham would continue to defend Hurts, stating, “I know 1 (Hurts) is trying, and 11 (Brown) could be a little better with how he responds to things. They was friends before this, but things have changed.”
