The New York Giants (0-1) and Washington Commanders (0-1) meet in Week 2 Sunday. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Giants vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.

The Giants had a rough start to their season, falling 28-6 to the Minnesota Vikings in their home opener. They couldn’t cover the 1-point spread, and the game stayed under the 41-point total. QB Daniel Jones struggled, throwing 2 picks and failing to hit 200 passing yards. RB Devin Singletary led the ground game but only managed 37 rushing yards. On the plus side, rookie wideout Malik Nabors made an impact with 5 catches for 66 yards in his NFL debut.

The Commanders fell short in their season opener, losing 37-20 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. They didn’t manage to cover the 4-point spread, but the game did hit the Over on the 41.5-point total. QB Jayden Daniels, the No. 2 overall pick, had a solid debut, passing for 184 yards and rushing for 88 with 2 touchdowns. Unfortunately, the defense let them down, allowing Tampa Bay to amass almost 400 yards of offense.

Giants at Commanders picks and predictions

Prediction

Giants 21, Commanders 17

Moneyline

BET GIANTS (+105).

New York has had a solid track record in Washington, winning 5 of their last 6 visits, including their most recent game there last November. Overall, they’re 7-2-1 in their last 10 matchups against the Commanders and have won their last 3 games in this rivalry.

Jones has consistently performed well against Washington, boasting a 5-1-1 record with a 69.7% completion rate and a strong 10:3 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He’s also 3-1 at in Washington. While Daniels might make some plays, the Giants’ defense, led by Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns, should be able to put enough pressure on him to force mistakes.

With the Giants’ recent success against Washington and Jones’ proven track record, taking them on the moneyline at plus-odds looks like a great bet.

Against the spread

PASS.

I’ll keep my bet to the moneyline with the better odds on the Giants.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 43.5 (-110).

Both teams had a hard time scoring in Week 1. The Giants and Commanders only managed 26 points combined, with Washington scraping together 13 of their 20 points in the second half. Washington’s defense had a rough time against Baker Mayfield and the Bucs, letting up a lot of yards and points. The Giants, on the other hand, didn’t do much with their young stars like Malik Nabers and Jalin Hyatt.

Plus, both defenses allowed over 100 rushing yards last week. This likely means a run-heavy game plan, which tends to slow things down and keep the score low. Given the offensive struggles and the expected ground game, the UNDER 43.5 (-110) points looks like a smart bet.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Sunday’s Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants odds and lines, with expert NFL picks, predictions and best bets.

The Dallas Cowboys (9-4) will try to extend their winning streak to three games Sunday when they visit the New York Giants (4-9). This NFC East showdown will kick off at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium this weekend. Below, we look at the Cowboys vs. Giants odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Cowboys have been carried by their defense lately, forcing four turnovers in each of their last two games. The defense has also scored two touchdowns in the last two weeks, which were pivotal in the team’s wins over the Saints and Washington.

Since the Cowboys’ Week 7 bye, they’re just 4-3 with losses to the Broncos, Chiefs and Raiders.

The Giants have endured yet another difficult season, and things only seem to be getting worse with QB Daniel Jones still sidelined by a neck injury.

QB Mike Glennon is slated to start again this weekend after losing his first two starts of the season to the Dolphins and Chargers. The Giants lost those games by a combined score of 57-30, failing to cover the spread in either one.

Cowboys at Giants odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Cowboys 24, Giants 17

Money line

The Cowboys absolutely should not lose this game against the Glennon-led Giants. They cruised to a 44-20 win over New York back in Week 5, and that was with Jones at quarterback.

I believe the Cowboys will beat the Giants but with the way Dallas’ offense has played lately and given the chalky line of -700, I would PASS here.

Against the spread

The Cowboys’ offense has looked out of sorts lately, specifically QB Dak Prescott. And with RB Ezekiel Elliott still dealing with a knee injury, the offense doesn’t exactly have a running game to lean on.

The 11.5-point spread is high, even with New York missing key players on offense. And two of the last three games between the Cowboys and Giants have been decided by four points or fewer.

Bet the GIANTS +11.5 (-112).

Over/Under

In the Giants’ 13 games this season, the total has only gone Over four times. The Over is 6-7 in Cowboys games this year, including a recent stretch where the total has gone Under in six of their last seven games.

I like the UNDER 44.5 (-112) in this one because the Giants will struggle to move the ball against Dallas’ defense and the Cowboys haven’t looked good on offense at all.
