The New Orleans Breakers (3-0) and New Jersey Generals (2-1) meet Sunday for a Week 4 USFL game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET (NBC/Peacock). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Breakers vs. Generals odds, and make our expert USFL picks, predictions and bets.
The Breakers have been on fire to start, winning and covering each of the 1st 3 outings. That includes an impressive 45-31 road win as 6-point underdogs against the defending champ Birmingham Stallions last weekend. The offense is averaging a healthy 41.5 PPG across the last 2 outings, while the defense has allowed 31 points in each game.
The Generals scored an impressive 28-13 road win against the Michigan Panthers at Ford Field in Week 3, covering for the 2nd straight outing. The Under has cashed in each of the last 3 outings, allowing just 16 total points in the last 2 contests.

Breakers vs. Generals picks and predictions
Prediction
Breakers 29, Generals 25
Moneyline
The unbeaten BREAKERS (-150) are a decent moderate favorite in this neutral-site battle, if you don’t want to fiddle around with the points and wish to just pick a winner straight up.
New Orleans has been on fire out of the game, although the Generals (+125) have been pretty sharp over the last 2 games, especially defensively.
Against the spread
The BREAKERS -2.5 (-110) are an attractive play as long as this stays under a flat 3 or 3 and a hook.
New Orleans has covered all 3 of its games to date, although the Generals +2.5 (-110) have been solid on defense in the last 2 weekends.
Still, I like the overall body of work better for the Breakers, and I think they’re more balanced on offense. The Gens have a strong rushing attack, but it remains to be seen if it can move the ball through the air when needed.
Over/Under
OVER 44.5 (-110) has been the go-to play when the Breakers are involved. They can score plenty of points, and New Orleans has allowed 31 points in each of the last 2 contests.
There is risk here, however, as the Generals have cashed the Under in all 3 games to date. Still, the Stallions put up 27 on this defense, and their offense is on par with the Breakers, if not a little less. I expect New Orleans will be able to solve New Jersey, and flirt with 30, and the Gens should find plenty of open spaces against a giving Breakers D, too.
