The Brooklyn Nets (26-43) take on the Milwaukee Bucks (44-25) Thursday with tip-off from Fiserv Forum set for 8 p.m. ET (NBA TV). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bucks odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

Season series: Bucks lead 2-0

The Nets dropped their 4th straight Tuesday night with a 104-91 home defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans. G Cam Thomas had 25 points and hit 3 triples in the loss. He has now scored 21+ points in all 6 games he has played this month.

The Bucks covered as 10-point dogs without F Giannis Antetokounmpo in Boston Wednesday, but the Celtics beat them 122-119. G Damian Lillard had 32 points and 6 3-pointers. He has gone for 30+ in his last 2 games without The Greek Freak, who is questionable Thursday.

Nets at Bucks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 114, Nets 99

Moneyline

The Bucks are on a back-to-back, and there’s no feel one way or another if Giannis will play, but you can’t risk a -450 here anyway.

Instead, I’ll take a stab at MIKAL BRIDGES OVER 2.5 3-POINTERS (+105). The bet has cashed in 6 of his last 10 games, including the last 2 games. He shot 44% (7-for-16) from distance in his last 2 games.

Against the spread

During the Nets’ 4-game losing streak, they’ve also failed to cover in all. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 7-3 ATS with Giannis in and out of the lineup over the last 10.

It’s a little risky with the uncertainty of Milwaukee’s lineup, but the Nets are bad. Take the BUCKS -9.5 (-110).

Over/Under

The Bucks are 4-5-1 O/U over their last 10. Meanwhile the Nets have given up 100+ points in 10 straight, and the Over is 7-3 during that stretch. Both matchups this season went Over this total, but I think with Giannis’ uncertainty, coupled with the back-to-back scenario, you have to go UNDER 220.5 (-110).

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (37-28) and Milwaukee Bucks (47-18) meet Thursday at Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets covered the spread as 6.5-point favorites Tuesday with a 118-96 win at the Houston Rockets. F Mikal Bridges scored a game-high 30 points as Brooklyn won its 3rd straight.

The Bucks covered as 2.5-point favorites Tuesday with a 134-123 win at the Orlando Magic. C Brook Lopez finished with 26 points in the absence of F Giannis Antetokounmpo (non-COVID illness) and G Jrue Holiday (sore neck). Both are expected to play Thursday.

The Bucks lead this season’s series 2-1 straight up and against the spread (ATS) with the Under hitting in all 3 meetings. Milwaukee covered as a 6.5-point road favorite with a 118-104 win in the most recent meeting Feb. 28 as the Under 231.5 cashed.

Nets at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 124, Nets 105

Moneyline

PASS.

Milwaukee (-750) should beat Brooklyn, but there is no need to risk more than 7 times your potential profit on the moneyline when the Bucks should win by margin. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET BUCKS -11.5 (-115).

Milwaukee is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games and 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games after allowing 100 or more points in its previous contest. The Bucks have been overperforming against expectation at Fiserv Forum this season and have covered 62.5% of their games as a home favorite (20-12-1 ATS).

The Nets have played well lately, but have too many players on the injury report Thursday to keep it close vs. the league-best Bucks who have won 18 of their last 19 games.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 233.5 (-110).

The Under has hit in 7 of the last 8 meetings between these teams in Milwaukee and is 13-2-1 in the last 16 head-to-head meetings overall. The Bucks allow the lowest effective field goal percentage this season (51.4%) and the Nets should struggle to put up points with 3 of its top-4 leading scorers sidelined Thursday.

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Brooklyn Nets (1-2) will take on the Milwaukee Bucks (2-0)  Wednesday at the Fiserv Forum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nets vs. Bucks odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets are coming off a 134-124 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday as they failed to cover the 1-point spread on the road. Brooklyn has now lost 2 of its first 3 games of the season by double-digits despite having G Kyrie Irving and F Kevin Durant on the floor together.

The Bucks haven’t played since a 125-105 victory over the Houston Rockets on Saturday as 13-point favorites at home. F Giannis Antetokounmpo has gotten off to a hot start with 32.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game on 70.3% shooting from the field.

Nets at Bucks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 112, Nets 105

Moneyline

Just PASS on the moneyline in this game despite the expectation of the Bucks winning at home. Milwaukee’s odds aren’t currently at a spot where I feel comfortable taking them straight up, though, I’m fine inserting the Bucks into a parlay.

Against the spread

Even with Milwaukee being without Middleton, I’ll take BUCKS -3.5 (-117) with how Brooklyn has looked to begin the season. The Nets need to figure out how to incorporate G Ben Simmons into the lineup and I don’t believe they figure it out Wednesday.

Brooklyn is 1-5 ATS in its last 6 games overall and 2-5 ATS in the last 7 road meetings against Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record.

Over/Under

UNDER 232.5 (-105) is where I’m leaning in this game with it being a lofty total despite Middleton being sidelined for the Bucks. These 2 teams have capable scorers on the floor still, but they are both bottom 10 teams in pace to begin the season.

The Under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings between the Nets and the Bucks when the game is in Milwaukee. The Under is also 10-2-1 in the last 13 meetings overall.

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Milwaukee Bucks (36-24) host the Brooklyn Nets (31-29) Saturday at Fiserv Forum for an 8:30 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Bucks odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

This will be Milwaukee’s first game since the All-Star Break. The Bucks are the 4-seed in the East, 3 games behind the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls for first place. Milwaukee is 20-11 straight up (SU) and 11-20 against the spread (ATS) at home.

Brooklyn took a 129-106 beatdown at home Thursday administered by the Boston Celtics. The Nets are eighth in the East, 3.5 games behind the sixth-place Celtics and 3.5 games ahead of the 11th-place Washington Wizards. Brooklyn is 18-13 SU and 16-15 ATS on the road.

The Bucks are 2-0 SU and ATS versus the Nets this season and Brooklyn had Kevin Durant active for both games. Milwaukee’s F Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists with a plus-21 net rating in the first two Nets-Bucks meetings.

Nets at Bucks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Bucks 122, Nets 111

Money line

PASS even though Milwaukee should win this game running away because the Milwaukee (-500) is just too pricey for an NBA regular-season ML favorite.

PLAY: Free, daily sports pick’em contests. Play now!

Against the spread

“LEAN” to the BUCKS -9.5 (-107) for a half-unit only because there’s more money on the Nets +9.5 (-115) while the public is hammering Milwaukee. Tn sports betting you typically want to follow the money if it’s counter to the public.

However, the Nets have been terrible defensively lately and the Bucks beat up on bad defenses. Milwaukee is 18-6 SU versus bottom-10 defenses with a plus-11.3 adjusted net rating (ranked third) and a plus-3.0 ATS margin (ranked 10th), according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

The Bucks are also sixth in offensive rating and the Nets are getting trounced by good offenses. Brooklyn is 4-13 SU versus top-10 offenses with a minus-7.5 adjusted net rating (ranked 24th) and a minus-6.5 ATS margin (ranked 29th), per CTG.

Over/Under

BET the UNDER 236.5 (-107) for a three-fourths unit because this should be the least popular bet in this game and that’s generally how you find value in sports betting.

Plus a vast majority of the action is on the Over so we have a fade the market angle and the total is 1-9-1 O/U in the last 11 Nets-Bucks meetings.

If this game is as one-sided as the 9.5-point spread indicates then this game might die down in the fourth quarter.

The UNDER 236.5 (-107) is my favorite wager in this game.

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Tuesday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The 2021-22 NBA regular season tips off Tuesday with a Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Semifinals. Tip-off at Fiserv Forum is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Nets vs. Bucks odds and lines, and make our expert NBA picks, predictions and bets.

Milwaukee upset Brooklyn 4-3 in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinals series en route to an NBA title. The Bucks, in three of their four series wins over the Nets,  the Under was 5-1-1 in those games.

Game 7 was the best of the Nets-Bucks series as Milwaukee won 115-111 in overtime after Kevin Durant hit a 2-point shot to send the game into extra time. KD almost won the series with a game-winning 3-pointer, but instant replay confirmed his foot stepped on the line.

The Bucks were 2-1 overall and against the spread (ATS) vs. the Nets in their three regular-season meetings last year.

Nets at Bucks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Nets 118, Bucks 112

Money line

The NETS (+100) is the play, but I’d rather bet Brooklyn’s spread at these prices.

However, I’ve been monitoring this game’s betting lines for weeks now and what’s startling to me is how little it changed when news broke of Brooklyn benching Kyrie until he gets vaccinated for COVID-19.

In my opinion, Brooklyn goes from being the favorite to win the East to behind Milwaukee if Kyrie misses the season. But, the Nets have bounced back and forth between being a slight favorite to a slight underdog vs. the Bucks, in Milwaukee, over the past week or so.

Brooklyn’s case for having an edge over Milwaukee is the “revenge of KD,” “regular season James Harden” and “the Bucks are without key contributors” arguments.

Even though Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s legacy advanced to a new level after Milwaukee won the NBA title last season, KD could still be the best basketball player in the world. KD was inches away from sending the Bucks home last season, and I’m expecting Durant to be even better this season.

Furthermore, Harden always wears down by season’s end, and last year was no different. Theoretically, Harden will be at his fittest and healthiest in the first game of the season and will have a similar chip on his shoulder as KD.

Also, while Kyrie’s absence definitely lowers Brooklyn’s ceiling, it could motivate KD and Harden to step up primetime games.

Finally, Milwaukee is missing its starting shooting guard in DiVincenzo and a key bench player in Portis. Obviously, these are just role players, but it matters in this spot because there isn’t a lot separating these two teams.

Against the spread

BETTING 1 unit on the NETS +1.5 (-110) is my favorite wager in this matchup. You could opt to take Brooklyn’s money line instead, but I’m cool with spending a little bit more in case Milwaukee wins on a buzzer-beater.

Over/Under

Slight “LEAN” to the UNDER 235.5 (-108) for a tiny wager if at all because I much prefer the Brooklyn side in this game and don’t have a great handicap on the total.

On top of that, we are getting to the party a little late since the Bucks-Nets opened with a 240.5-point total but has been bet down to the current number. Again, I’m not in love with the Under, though, because of all the firepower between both teams.

But, it’s the first game of the season so maybe there’s some rust to knock off, and this budding rivalry game could grind to a halt late. Plus with a total of 236.5, just one slow or low-scoring quarter could cash the Under.

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks Game 6 odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks Game 6 NBA odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The 2-seed Brooklyn Nets and 3-seed Milwaukee Bucks play Game 6 of their Eastern Conference second-round series Thursday at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Nets vs. Bucks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets pushed the Bucks to the brink of elimination with a 114-108 win in Brooklyn in Game 5 as 1.5-point underdogs. We had a push on the total, snapping a 4-0 Under run in the series.

The Bucks failed to cover again in Game 5, failing to cover for the fourth time in five games. At home, they are averaging just 96.5 PPG in two games against the Nets.

Nets at Bucks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bucks 107, Nets 104

Money line (ML)

The Bucks (-225) will cost you over two times your potential return. While I believe Milwaukee will win this one and push the Nets (+180) to a decisive Game 7, they’re just too expensive in what should be a razor-thin game.

AVOID.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The NETS +5.5 (-110) are worth playing, as this game could potentially be a final-shot kind of a contest. The Nets are 4-1 ATS in this series. So Brooklyn is the play here, but I think the Bucks push them the distance in the series.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 220.5 (-105) is the best play on the board in this Game 6 as the pressure is on. We’ll get a lot more defense, and shooters might be a little tense, too. We have had the Under go 4-0-1 across the first five games in this series, too, so why stop hitting it now?

Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks Game 4 odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Sunday’s Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks Game 4 NBA Playoffs odds and lines, with basketball picks, tips and predictions.

The 2-seed Brooklyn Nets and 3-seed Milwaukee Bucks play Game 4 of their Eastern Conference second-round series Sunday at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Nets vs. Bucks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Nets struggled from the floor in Game 3 hitting just 34 of 94 shots (36 percent), including shooting 8-for-32 from behind the three-point line. They were a solid 88 percent from the charity stripe, shooting 7-for-8, but the lack of chances was staggering.

The Bucks weren’t that much better, shooting 34-for-90 (38 percent) from the field. They ended up winning Game 3 by three points despite the fact they shot just 19 percent from long range, hitting just six of their 31 shots from behind the arc.

Nets at Bucks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Bucks 117, Nets 109

Money line (ML)

The BUCKS (+115) are short ‘dogs at home despite the fact they’re playing in Cream City and the Nets will be without James Harden. Milwaukee has failed to cover all three games in this series so far, but that changes with a resounding win on its home floor.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

BUCKS +2 (-110) is a tremendous play in Game 4 at Fiserv as short underdogs. The Nets will continue to be without Harden, and that’s a huge break for the home side.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 228.5 (-110) is the play, with Brooklyn missing such a huge chunk of their offense. The Under has hit in the first three games of this series, so why stop playing it now?
