The Peacocks are this year’s Cinderella, making history as they join Oral Roberts as the second 15-seed to make the Sweet 16 in the past two years. SPC has sent Kentucky (86-79 Thursday) and Murray State (70-60 Saturday) home early in a pair of upsets.
The Boilermakers routed Yale 78-56 Friday as expected in the first round, then dropped Texas 81-71 Sunday to cover for the second time in as many outings while the Over connected.
