The best reactions and memes about Naruto coming to Fortnite

Believe it? Sure, why not.

Naruto is in Fortnite  now — saying that aloud is enough to make anyone question reality. For fans of the spiky-haired ninja, they probably wish it was all just part of a simulation.  Alas, it’s not.

It’s hard to believe that the title character of one of the most popular anime of all time now stands shoulder to shoulder with Ariana Grande, Spider-Man, Jinx, Master Chief, Superman and a Xenomorph. I, for one, want a live reaction of Ridley Scott bearing witness to his alien getting obliterated by the Seventh Hokage. Can’t be any worse than Prometheus, at least.

Check out the official trailer for Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden  below.

Naruto was a formative anime for an entire generation, so it’s no surprise that reactions to characters from the series in Fortnite  has been, um, interesting. From Sasuke dancing along to Gangnam Style to Naruto himself hunting with a shotgun, folks sure are getting a kick out of this crossover. Or they’re just coping by way of memes. Who’s to say really!

Take a look at some of the funnier reactions for yourself below.

‘Fortnite’ is doing a crossover with anime series ‘Naruto’

Fortnite is getting into anime with its Naruto crossover.

Fortnite  is doing a crossover with Naruto Shippuden, the wildly popular shonen anime series.

After maybe a year’s worth of speculation, the spikey-haired ninja is indeed coming to the battle royale phenomenon that is Fortnite. Epic Games finally made it all official on Wednesday with a single “Believe it!” teaser, a quote the character Naruto repeatedly says in the anime’s English dub.

Check out Epic’s teaser for the Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden  crossover for yourself below. It’s all coming out next week on Nov. 16, so anyone eager to try out whatever activities, skins or items coming with the crossover won’t have to wait long.

Rumors of a Fortnite x Naruto Shippuden crossover have existed in data mining circles for a while. HYPEX, a well-known Fortnite  data miner, even shared details about Naruto  appearing in Fortnite  hours before Epic Games made the official announcement.

Until Epic makes these alleged details official, take all of this with a grain of salt.

These Fortnite  crossovers seem only ever to get bigger. Last week, Jinx from League of Legends  hopped into the build wars and before that there was Batman, Venom, Spider-Man, the Predator and virtually every other character ever in the history of pop culture.
