Alabama running back Najee’ Harris could have been one of the first running backs off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he chose to return for his senior season.
While many would question such a decision, especially at his position, Harris is succeeding in the improbable task of improving his draft stock for 2021.
The latest example? Harris’ dominant performance in Saturday night’s 63-48 win over Ole Miss, in which he racked up 248 yards on 26 touches, finding the end zone five times as the Crimson Tide pulled away from the Rebels late in the fourth quarter.
Harris iced the game on his fifth score of the night in the final minutes.

Harris is sure to be one of the top backs selected in the 2021 NFL Draft, and his performance so far this season could easily make him a first-round selection.
