Colorado cornerback set to enter transfer portal

Colorado is reportedly losing a young cornerback to the transfer portal

As reported by On3, Colorado cornerback Nahmier Robinson plans to enter the college football transfer portal, which opens next Monday.

Robinson, the son of former NBA point guard Nate Robinson, was a three-star class of 2023 prospect (per 247Sports) who spent two seasons in Boulder. He redshirted last year before appearing in two games this past season, recording a pass breakup in the Buffs’ win at Colorado State.

A 5-foot-9, 170-pound graduate of Skyline High School in Washington, Robinson will enter the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining.

Robinson is the second Colorado player to announce their intention to transfer. On Nov. 19, linebacker Johnny Chaney Jr. revealed his plan to redshirt his 2024 season before entering the portal.

The winter transfer portal window begins on Dec. 9 and runs through Dec. 28. The transfer portal will then re-open from April 16-25.
