Chargers had pre-draft meeting with Oregon CB Mykael Wright

The Chargers met with an undersized yet competitive cornerback.

The Chargers will be looking to the draft to solidify their secondary.

According to The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, Los Angeles had a virtual meeting with former Oregon cornerback Mykael Wright.

Wright posted 103 tackles, 17 passes defended, four tackles for loss, and two interceptions during his three seasons with the Ducks.

While not imposing at 5-foot-11 and 182 pounds, Wright possesses good awareness, fluid movement skills, solid ball skills, and physicality facing bigger receivers and in the run game.

Furthermore, Wright has three years of success as a kickoff returner, with 35 returns for 982 yards (28.1 yards per return) and two touchdowns.
