Michigan State hockey was the biggest riser in this week’s updated USCHO rankings.

The Spartans completed an impressive two-game weekend sweep of rival Michigan this past weekend, and were rewarded in the polls. Michigan State moved up three spots to No. 6 in the updated rankings from USCHO that were released on Monday.

Michigan State is one of four Big Ten teams listed in this week’s poll, with Wisconsin (No. 4), Minnesota (No. 8) and Michigan (No. 14) also included. Check out the complete poll by clicking on the tweet below:

Michigan State hockey remains in the top 10 of the USCHO.com weekly rankings after another weekend split.

For a third straight week, the Spartans have split their weekend series, but remain in the top 10 nationally. Michigan State dropped to No. 9 this week after splitting their two-game series with Notre Dame over the weekend.

Michigan State is one of four Big Ten teams ranked this week. The other three are Wisconsin (No. 3), Minnesota (No. 8) and Michigan (No. 11). Check out the complete rankings in the post below:
