New Michigan State football running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams, a transfer from UMass, had a breakout game in the first week of the season, racking up 101 yards on just nine rushing attempts against Florida Atlantic, including a huge touchdown run.

The Spartans will face a big early season test on Saturday when they play Maryland on the road, and Lynch-Adams previewed the match-up on Wednesday. You can watch him speak to the media below.

Michigan State football got a season opening victory over Florida Atlantic on Friday evening, beating the Owls 16-10. While the offense had their struggles in the game, a bright spot for the team was the play of UMass transfer running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams. Lynch-Adams had 9 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Michigan State football added to its first half lead in a big way thanks to new running back Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams.

On the first play of a new drive in the second quarter, Lynch-Adams ran up the middle 63 yards for another Spartans touchdown. This was the first touchdown as a Spartan for Lynch-Adams, who transferred in the offseason from UMass.

The touchdown from Lynch-Adams pushed the Spartans lead to 16-0 in the first half.

Hear what MSU RB Kay’Ron Lynch Adams has to say about the Spartans after the first few weeks of fall camp

New Michigan State running back Kay’Ron Lynch Adams is looking to make an instant impact in his first season with the Spartans.

Lynch Adams and Michigan State opened up fall camp last week, and have begun preparing for the 2024 season. Michigan State will officially open the season on August 30 against Florida Atlantic. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
